I have a pretty large French provincial dresser that was given to me as a child from my Aunt. I just recently painted mine with black chalk paint and it turned out beautiful! I love this piece Maggy!!

You could have made a silicone mold of the trim of the existing trim. And filled it with putty to match the trim.

Love this . Silver is my favorite for gilding wax and trim. You did a great job . I will say 2 things .. please don’t use the camera technique of cutting away too much . I like to see a full front view of before and after . It was a bit distracting . I could also see were you needed to go in and touch up some messy areas of the silver . That makes all the difference in the finished piece . I mean no disrespect . I love your channel .
