By the time you see this, you'll be done, but measure the width at the back of the cabin, find the center of that measurement and mark the center on the floor, repeat this at the front of the cabin. Then do that on the front to back on each side, then chalk line those marks, your lines will be square on the floor despite the walls not being square! Flooring looks really good Michelle. If you do it again, instead of using your boot to wedge it over, cut an offcut to slot into the groove / tongue (so it doesn't get damaged), then a length of wood a little longer than the gap and wedge that down one of the wall posts - you could do two or three and wedge the whole board in at once for a speedy installation - once the board is fixed, knock out the wedged length, cut a boards width off the end and use them to fit the next board. Also leave that big water container at the cabin and just take a 2 litre water jug and refill it on each visit 0 be a lot less weight to carry 💪🏼💪🏼

Michy, you silly goose stop hitting yourself with a hammer, because it hurts. The floor does look good though. As for a couch either buy a sectional, or make one that can be built at the house, in sections and assembled at the cabin. There actually pretty easy to make, and even the foam can be sourced through Amazon, even the throw pillows which are much safer then throwing metal objects. And a clean job site is a happy job site. 😇👍have a good week and count your blessings, amen. 👌✌️👋🇨🇦🙏

Cut a scrap piece of wood just a bit longer than the gap, then wedge it in and pound down to force the board in place. Cut a variety of scrap lengths that can be used separately or combined to deal with different gaps. Cutting one leg at a time under the stove was genius. Nice!

When I’ve run out of clamp (never owned any pipe clamps), what I’ve ended up doing was to make a jig that I could hook over the end of the series of boards and clamp to that instead. I suppose you could also nail down a temporary board over what you’ve already put in place and hook one end of your clamp over that. Just a couple of extra holes.
