In this video, I show you how I transformed 1 boring bar stool into 2 amazingly cute decorative stools. This was a real trash to treasure thrift flip, since this stool was picked up by one of my sweet customers off the side of the road and brought to me.

I have FOUR barstools that have been stacked in my basement for a long time! Yay! My poor husband has had to keep up with me and my ideas all these years and now he has to keep up with me and you and all the girls on your FB page! The ideas are FLYING all around him. He's sometimes shocked, but pretty game.

Love the rectangular top on the one... love all the old wood look...nails and ALL ❤️❤️and how cute to match the grain strips to the stool leg’s color 👍👍 That is the best idea for those bar stools ! I see people throwing away those stools all the time and it never occurred me to cut it in half so you made a riser for a plant or for a Vignette, and the little bench which I think turned out adorable! I actually see these benches at Walmart and I’m tempted to go buy one and try this because I know they’re not that expensive! Love you Julie! 😍

I think I have an obsession for stools and chairs...this video has only enhanced it! :) I use wooden chairs for garden decor and displaying plants purposes. Just yesterday I almost threw one of them out because the feet of it had decayed and it was wonky. BUT, I thought I could saw off the decay and even them out. SOOOO glad I did! It is adorable!!!

Love it! I have a stool I chalk painted, distress, and stenciled a French design on it. Use it for a little side table in my guest bedroom! So much you can do with those stools all day long. Mine wasn’t bar height. That was brilliant cutting yours in half and making two! Good job girl. You inspire me. 🥰

I too am not a fan of simple bar stools BUT I Loved your transformation into two smaller stools/table. I also loved the natural wood seat and enjoyed learning how to paint on fabric. Again a great job. I always learn so much from you.

I have three bar stool that are just plain lightwood and uncushioned. Drop cloth cover, great idea!. I definitely will go pick some up and do the tops cause I do use the stools at my bar and counter when I have guessed over.
