FYI - regarding the single shadow from Oden's Eye: Due to the large particle mica texture, it requires more adhesive to ensure the eyeshadow's adhesion and stability to prevent crumbling, so the texture will be closer to a cream-like consistency. || It makes a little sense as to why it might be performing the way it has been, but that shadow has a sticky, gummy texture compared to the others. 😕 So yeah, lol. Anyway, I wanted to leave this as a pinned comment in case people wondered about it. (Thanks to my Patron, @Luluavery, for bringing this to my attention!!)

If those are from when they very first launched, they did update the formula. At least on Leon. Could be all of them but I don’t know. Everyone was bitching. They fixed it. I’ve got the new one. That’s all I know 🤓

Yeah, I have a couple of those Oden’s Eye. I don’t know how to explain it. I guess basically, I’m going with “mid” to describe them. There are things I love about them- the shades and how they look sitting there. What I really am not a fan of is how they perform when used. So, it’s definitely not your house. Unless maybe they formulate them to have peak performance in Scandinavia year-round winters. But that’s not going to fly in the swamp that is Florida even with a/cs at full blast set to 65. Our humidity is out of hand.

I’ve never heard anyone have a bad thing to say about Odin’s Eye. I bought the Christmas Eve palette and any time I used it and both with matte and shimmer it was just the most fallout I’ve ever had. I finally gave it away early this month as I was keeping it for its prettiness and priciness but would never touch it for the mess. I think I’m the only one though!

Yes I watched a few other videos and the formula is more of a “gel like” texture but it wasn’t with all the shades apparently. This stopped me from ordering all together. 😢

The Oden’s Eye has had this problem for awhile. The original multi-chromes I got a year ago are MUSHY! I dunno if they tried to address it but it seems they did not because your newer ones are mushy. They need to ADDRESS this cuz it reflects ( no pun intended ) on them!

Regarding heat. Same girl, same. My house doesn’t go above 73 even in winter. If I’m out and get sweaty, I go home because it just makes me an angry wench and gives me such anxiety. Love ya, Dad!

Regarding Oden’s Eye singles, I remember both Milly of badtothebrow and Marte of Marte’s Makeup having issues with either this release or a previous release (or maybe both releases) having too much binder and being “like paste” or overly squishy. I have read some people have used a paper towel to press out the extra binder/goo.

Try using the Natasha Denona powder to spot-conceal. I find that using a powder foundation blends in better and looks more natural than concealer.

Maybe Angie can help with the Odens eyes. She got this, too. 😂❤ Yeah, heat, and I do not get along. I can't regulate my body temperature. My bf bought me a mini cooling system. It is a tiny cube with a water reserve. It's like a fan and cools you down. I was like 😮 wow it really is a portable personal AC. 😂I was cold and slept beautifully. Extreme temperatures get me sick, so we do have and need an air conditioner.

The Oden’s Eye eyeshadow…. I wouldn’t worry. It looks kinda like how some of the Adept formulas. I know Adept uses a lot of shea butter in their formula, so it could be something similar. Or maybe a silicone heavy formula. You just can’t be digging into them like that. 😂 Light swipe.

I have one Lethal Cosmetics special shade that is kind of a putty formula that looks like your Oden's Eye smushy shadows. But it has always been like that since I bought it so I just assumed it was supposed to be like that. The shadow is quite flaky and super sparkly, so I assume it just needs a bit more binder to stay put. I would be concerned only if your shadows changed consistency, like if they went from firm to squishy.

I don’t like shimmer blush on me - but lately I’ve wanted to revisit. The Rare and Fenty are still not for me BUT the slight shimmer in the Kosas ones are perfect. I bought one, and have since ordered two more (love the bronzer too). I just hope they don’t all go bad in five seconds - not a fan of “clean” makeup.

I've had that weird eyeshadow separation happen to me with a different indy brand. I emailed them and they sent me a replacement. I think it was either a bad batch or it was an old palette that got shipped out. Either way they made it right and I haven't had that problem since.

I got the Amy loves palette and it's pretty. I end up reaching for lighter mattes and some of the shimmers crease quickly on me. I wasn't terribly impressed formula wise with the creasing issue I was having. Other indie brands perform better for me.

Yes it happened to me. Not only with the singles but also with any not matte eyeshadow of Odens Eyes and I decluttered EVERYTHING. I hate Odens Eyes and I think is the worst quality I've EVER experienced. And YES I'm SO angry nobody's talking about it and everyone talks wonders about this brand just because all influencers receive all this for free. NOT RIGHT not honest for all their audience. So if you value your money DON'T BUY this brand. Smashbox face palette, yes...kind of meh...I can use it in one of those days I'm not going anywhere 😂😂

It’s 21c or about 70f on the dead of night when the sun is down where I’m at Right now 27c or about 80f and it was hotter the past couple days A few years ago we had a heat wave where it went up to 45c about 113f and I didn’t own an ac my grandma had to move into a hotel so she didn’t die because people were hoarding them and a few hundred people died So I get the heat issues girl
