A few years back watched one of those New Way compactors bite thru a 10" thick fresh cut tree trunk!The trash truck was used instead of a chipper!I wonder what kind of hydraulic power supply is used to test these bodies before being assembled onto a truck chassis.

Love seeing these trash truck crushing videos!!When the camera is mounted on the sill of the hopper-you really get an excellent close up view of things getting crucned.Then when the compactor is opened for another cycle-you see the stuff that was crushed before.And the camera mic does a great job of picking up the crunching,crushing,and grinding sounds.In that area folks throw out a lot of couches,furniture,and beds for your truck to munch on!Does it get any large appliances in its diet?

Hey Rex!!! I love that camera angle as well! It's a better view than my own view lol.. No, it does not. Unless its pre-approved for pick up by Supervisor and it's an Illegal dump! If it's a fridge or AC the compressor cannot be present! It's pretty rare when I pick up appliances...

It's interesting at that one stop, you first collected all the non metallic items then all the metal items at the end. I presume that makes separation easier at the point where you dump it.

The things i would do to work with you😩. i live in suburbs of st paul MN, so there is no work as far as i know besides using the arm to dump the cans. I would much rather do what you do, but im only 15 , so it would be kinda hard LOL

It would be nice if was easy to do, have a trailer for metal because of how much there is, to recycle it and keep it out of the landfill, or even if it was logical to have another truck just for metal

A fair number of people make a side hustle of getting up early with their pick-up truck and make the rounds collecting any metal scrap they find. There are guys who even make KZbin videos on this. It's not an easy buck though, and very labor intensive.

Hi Bulky Crusher😄👍Really nice bulky waste videos are interesting, preferably if you have the camera yourself, then you can at least see what piles of bulky waste are there and what kind of things you throw into the press. You have to pay attention to the armchairs to see if the material is still closed underneath, money could leak out The old people like to hide money in armchairs and Cautsch sofas and then forget to take it out when they get a new armchair or Cautsch and the nice money💵💵💵💵💵 then ends up in the trash

There are items I do not take, I try to leave as much metal as possible, Refrigerators or any other type of Household appliances, TVs/Electronic equipment all these items are recycled and picked up by another truck… Sometimes I leave mattresses because they’re scheduled to be recycled as well!
