There used to be a Denny's in San Francisco Japantown, but it did not serve Japan Denny's food -- instead, it had Hawaii Denny's food, so lots of meats with rice and the like. I remember when they lost the franchise, it changed to "Danny's" with an A for spell before finally closing for good. There were too many other places serving better Hawaii-style diner food.

I agree. I can't believe Joey and Garnt are calling it something different from a Hambagu. Also if they say that they always dip their hambagu in the ponzu sauce, does that mean that the type of hambagu they like is dry? Why would Joey and Garnt turn down a self grilled juicy patty on it's own, when they are vouching for hambagu, a literal pried apart hamburger? Makes no sense!

Connor regarding jambalaya: "If it sounds like it could belong in a circus, it's American food" Hahaha, oh, shoot, he's right! Gumbo, po boys, hoagies, corn dogs, Rocky Mountain oysters... Gumbo sounds like Jumbo and Dumbo the elephants, po boys sounds like some poor boys who ran away to join the circus, corn dogs and Rocky Mountain oysters kind of sound like those performance acts of animals doing tricks (though the latter sounds kind of in the vein of flea circuses). Damnit, Joey, don't let the creole aspect overshadow that jambalaya is from America! Don't take this good food away from us! I was hoping during your America tour, you'd try some real jambalaya. I especially thought this when you guys said that after everyone recommending burger restaurants to you, you got kind of fed up with burgers due to them being too similar. Jambalaya is supposed to have onions, celery and bell peppers. "If you're jambalaya, why are you white?" "Oh, my god, Karen, you can't just ask jambalaya why it's white!"
