raw carrot and raw mango Do taste pretty similar. I believe the texture's different, and the moment you start actually doing anything to them they taste different, but raw? my reaction to the first mango I ever ate was ' this tastes like a carrot'.

If you think a carrot and a mango are the same flavor, ya might be mildly allergic to carrot. The flavor of a ripe mango is sweet, the flavor of a mature carrot is a little sweet. But if you're going through life convinced a carrot has the same tart, somewhat citrus-like back-bite of a mango, there's a problem.

AX this year was awesome. The Gacha Gods blessed me with the 2nd winning at the gacha machine at the booth and pulled a figure from the set in which i choose the Asuka figure. It was a major win since i just came up to the booth after waiting in line for hours just for the signature tickets to already be sold out, so getting at least one dub made my day. Cant wait to see you guys next year!

Edit: for reference, this is almost certianly mangos that have been shipped internationally, and thus probably not allowed to finish ripening before being picked, packed, and refrigirated for transport in order to prevent them from spoiling before they're bought.
