Horror films are traumatizing for me, and it disturbs me how popular they are, and true murder crime shows with the elderly also gives me the creeps, and has had me wondering about the state of their mental health. Maybe they just lack empathy, and/or I'm hyper-empathetic? To be sure I suffer from PTSD not just from terrible things that have happened to me, but also from terrible things that have, and are happening to others all over the world.

Trauma means injury such as wound to living tissue by extensive agent or disorderd psychic behavioral resulting from severe mental emotional stress or physical injury there are three types of trauma acute , chronic, complex thank you for your wonderful educational channel

Emotional trauma is a learning difficulty in my opinion. To me it is a word that is to scare or control people.

Salotogenesis 1 But it does move. My grandmother's traumatic Second Worldwar II experiences never ceased to haunt her for the rest of her life. Her world collapsed and yet she managed to give good face, as she wouldn't allow herself to show her feelings openly. So she would stay jovial and poised for the rest of her adult life, proving the mechanism of salutogenesis.
