he didnt mention the MOI, didnt call for ALS, didnt have a GI of the patient and forgot a couple other things. not critical fails but it could have been better

He suspected cardiogenic shock because of the flail chest very possibly causing a punctured lung/pneumothorax leading to a tension pneumothorax. Agreed he probably should have thought hypovalemic

didn't treat life threats (Flail Segment, Femur) upon identification which is a critical failure in my state. Never examined back nor placed on backboard. BVM started before knew rate was 28 breaths per minute.

cant elevate legs due to possible cardiogenic shock???? absolutely you would! goal is to keep blood flow to vital organs which raising lower legs apprrx 10-12" achieves/supports.

jbuccilli1 guess it depends on your state protocol, here we don't elevate the legs, we keep them supine.
