So much love for Josh Gondelman. Every time I see him in something or hear him on a podcast it's such a joy. He's so funny and thoughtful and this set shows it. In the hands of someone less compassionate this could have been mean and unfunny, but he absolutely strikes the perfect balance and knocked it out of the park. Go Josh!

My top five fav, in no particular order • back in the 1900's... • Kentucky basketball team (now, I don't know what the heck he's referencing but the applause from him mentioning a "different type of comedian" is funny •the entire string of jokes starting from sexy old man to 991, someone took my magic money! Love this! Also I think if a relationship is a pairing of a straight and a bisexual or pansexual person that counts as a queer relationship too. I think it only takes one present queer person for it to be a queer relationship, bc its not like the straight person present makes it a hetero one, the queer takes over! 🌈 That's just my humble lesbian *formerally identified as bisexual (took me some time to find myself fully) opinion. So I have an ex that is a trans woman now too. And I've legitimately wondered whether I should say I have an ex boyfriend or an ex girlfriend. I'm just trying to figure out how to be respectful, because I am straight (boring!).

Hope you don't mind me replying. Speaking as a trans person with trans friends, the best and easiest solution is to just ask your ex what she'd prefer. (Assuming you're on speaking terms.) Some of us don't mind our past selves being referred to as our past gender, but others of us it would be just as hurtful or disrespectful as being msgendered in the present. It's very sweet and considerate of you to wonder. I've had the same problem, my ex and I thought we were straight in high school and 10 years later are both trans in the opposite direction!
