Traumatic Brain Injury: New Approaches & Old Problems. Victorian Grand Trauma Round 2020

The Victorian Trauma Grand Round is a collaborative initiative to provide a forum for healthcare professionals involved in acute trauma care in Victoria to explore and debate all aspects of trauma management. The program will promote collaborative efforts and networking among members of the trauma community and showcase the expertise and available resources in trauma care in Victoria.

I fell from a tall ladder at home about 15 months ago, and sustained a TBI, breaking my skull, shoulder blade, and several ribs - which punctured a long - and had to be drained of blood. Also sustained 2 types of brain bleeds. Anyway, the patient's comment about remembering the food as not particularly tasty, reminded me that, in the beginning, after coming out of the drug-induced coma, I was given pureed lasagna! - Not my favorite lunch. lol
