Scott, nice to see you with Tab, another Travato 59 owner and I have never been to Chattanooga, and I need to visit. He made some good points about purchasing a Winnebago Travato over a Sprinter. Thanks and journey on!

Tab is seriously cool. Chattanooga was an unexpected pleasant surprise. Good idea to put that on your visit list.

Hi We have a 2019 KL with 3000 miles. We bought it new. It seems to us the Promaster chassis is underpowered. It struggles to maintain highway speeds without downshifting constantly. { no trailer in tow}. Just wondered if anyone in your world have ever found that to be the case. It is especially noticeable going into a headwind. Thank you....Gerry in Michigan
@gosmall.livelarge5 жыл бұрын
Hi Gerry in Michigan! First time commenting maybe? I agree with you out the downshifting. I think it is more of a gear ratio thing that actual horsepower. She pulls very strong up steep hills in city driving, but out on the Interstate the downshift occurs frequently. ESPECIALLY with headwind! I have learned to drive slower at 68 MPH and stay at 2100-2300 RPM on the highway to stay in 6th gear. That said I crossed westing MT in mostly 4th and 5th gear because of the terrain. Congrats on your KL. Are you so loving it or what?

Another wonderful and detailed segment on the Travato 59G model. I do have a question; is the rear bed on the 59G large enough for 2 adults to sleep comfortably?
@gosmall.livelarge5 жыл бұрын
If those adults are on the small size and don't flip and flop all night long I think you'll be fine. we are 5'10" and 150 pounds for comparison. A second person can always use the puzzle bed if needed.
@marybeth4885 жыл бұрын
It’s 8 inches narrower than a double (full) bed. I’m 5’7” and I can share it with my 13 pound dog😊🐶

Hey Scott, why do you say the water tank is only 18 gallons and not 21 on the G? Thank you for your videos! Some are very helpful.
@gosmall.livelarge4 жыл бұрын
The 59 GL floor plan has an 18 gallon fresh water storage capacity. The 59 G has 21 gallon capacity. I have a GL. Good call on noticing. I should have made that difference more clear to the viewers

Scott what is the noise level like on the inside and outside of the van when the auto start for charging is running and about how much fuel is burned during the 1hr running cycle.
@gosmall.livelarge5 жыл бұрын
Hi James. Great questions on the Charge On Demand (COD) system. I did a video on that including letting you hear the engine noise. Please give that a look at kzbin.info/www/bejne/rZWxkot3fstljJY fuel burn during the one hour session.. .couldn't see a change in the fuel gauge. Thanks for watching and commenting.

Hi Ruddy. Appreciate you watching and commenting. I have some several video tours of the Travato G and K floor plans. Take a look at those as it is all about the rig not the people using them ;) Most recent tour of my rig, kzbin.info/www/bejne/fWKVY2eunpmghqc Tour my rig Oct 2019, kzbin.info/www/bejne/o6i2qaaFha2aeNk Tour a 59G rig summer 2019, kzbin.info/www/bejne/i3jZfn18mK2cjK8 Hope that helps if you haven't seen those. Appreciate you taking time to comment.

Once again, you dispel the myth that Winnebago is an inferior build... and the warranty covered what was needed! Of course... nothing against the Sprinter people but... FIVE HUNDRED DOLLARS?!? That's what made me leave the Mercedes camp!
@jbjlock265 жыл бұрын
That was a bit of an exaggeration. Keep in mind that spreading misinformation does a disservice to Winnebago, who has built more class B and class C RVs on the Sprinter chassis than any other manufacturer. I buy my oil at NAPA when they run it on sale, which is about 4 times a year. It runs me a little under $100 for oil an filter. The service interval is 20,000 miles, but I do mine once a year regardless of the mileage.

My Merecdes AMG car is literally a $500 oil change. Don't miss anything Mercedes with the RV
