Thank-you for the video, I'm moving out to Canada in 6 months on an IEC! Out of interest did you find the £2000 you saved sustainable or did you need more?

It roughly covered those initial expenses. As for living costs I'd probably need to do another video on that

would you recommend going through a working holiday provider/package deal type thing? or would you still do it directly through the Canadian government and by yourself?

If you're prepared to go a few weeks without the hearing anything and can deal with the frustration of not knowing then do it yourself. I don't have experience of tour operators helping with the candian visa experience but no doubt they would have extra expertise, trouble with going through someone like that or an immigration lawyer is that there's no doubt an additional cost for their service.

Can I travel outside of Canada while on IEC visa? Returning to Canada ofc

Hey Danielle yes you can. I just got back from two weeks in the uk. Make sure your visa has an ETA to get back in the country. I had a bit of a scare while trying to check in at London to fly back, at the desk they didn't think I had an eta but apparently it was included with the permit. I wasn't sure though at the time.

Hey Chris, glad this was helpful. Yes its a lot of money, like I said I can see how this would put people off. Im sure there will be ways to cut some costs if you have help from work or other companies, and this is just my experience so it could be cheaper. I do think its worth it though! Just got to Revelstoke late last night.
