I looked at the Xmas set I have and it has different colors than the one you used and the one currently in the shop…but they are all as vibrant and wonderful colors…love her paints

Kristina, I hope you are feeling better. I have a question: I have tried and tried embossing on Stonehenge Aqua Cold press paper and when I using the heat gun the embossing powder seems to melt into the paper! I don't usually have a problem embossing. I have watched several of your videos using the black paper, I especially love the Juli water colors which I did buy. Any suggestions for me? Also this is beautiful!

Sounds like the powder is getting too hot. You might try pulling your heat tool further away from the surface of the paper while you're heating it.

Nothing is worse than a summer cold or sinus infection. So sorry you feel bad. Love those paints and I never knew that there was black water color paper! You always give me confidence to try new painting techniques. Thanks!

I saw your post in your community tab that you were more sick, & wouldn't be going live yesterday. That sucks! I think I have a sympathy cold now, though, since I read that. LOL Mostly just a sore throat. I haven't gotten tested, but I highly doubt it's Covid, just because I don't have much in the way of symptoms. Anyway, I hope you AND I feel better soon! :) I love how this card came together. Those watercolors are so vibrant, & they go well for that stamp. Neat idea to curve the greeting, too. Something that might help in future, when dies are joined - if you twist them at the strongest place in the joined-on die, often they'll come apart quite easily. I know it's too late for your scissors, but worth a try another time. You can also, depending on how they join, die-cut the entire thing and possibly get at least some of the shapes from it. Your paints are gorgeous! I love the way they show on the black card, and your painting is so neat. I've developed arthritis in both hands and wrists, plus fingers, and no longer trust that I can stay within the lines, which saddens me, it's a technique I can't use anymore. Enjoy the rest of your holiday, and be better soon. Best wishes from England.
