BA lounge at Heathrow are a free for all apart from B gates. I generally fly mid and long haul so it is a bonus.

I can confirm that Teeling is a fine whisky and I reckon it would take the edge off the Manchester airport experience. Being told where you can sit in a lounge after paying £38.99 is ridiculous. Great vid as always!

Hello Kieron - depending on where you use PP you can sometimes pay a fiver to guarantee access - I think it’s available at Gatwick and Birmingham (possibly). Keep an eye out for my next Lanzarote video should be out next few days..

@@MomentsInTheSky We are taking the long way. Flying into London via Amsterdam on KLM then via Easyjet to the islands. Returning via British Airways to London then via Virgin Atlantic and Delta home. The reason for the odd routing is so we can spend a couple of days in London which we have never been to either.

Had a fortnight in Playa Blanca in the summer at the Holiday Village. Highlight was the climb to the top of the nearby extinct volcano Montana Roja (Red Mountain), with it's spectacular crater and great views across to Fuerteventura. Well worth the effort. Liking your vids!

I have flown from t2 many times over the years, and i couldnt agree more about the rudeness of the security staff, almost got my belongings lost in august because of them, the only place which where the staff arent rude is in the aspire lounge.

That’s exactly what happened to me. I had literally thousands of pounds of camera gear with me and he wanted me to leave them in a corner while he went through my case. That would have been enough but he was so rude about it.

We came back from the Sandos Papagayo (the illegal hotel - have a look on Google) on Sunday having previously stayed there in 2021. Had a lovely stay and our room was in a very similar location to yours. Although we didn't opt for Royal Elite, we did try the a la carte restaurant which can be booked via the Sandos app (which is actually a web page). I'd strongly recommend trying it for at least one night. They have a choice of Mexican or Asian cuisine. I flew with TUI on the 767. Normally I'd go for Jet2 for the 757 but noticed they'd swapped the flight to an A321. That and the fact TUI was considerably cheaper! We paid the price with near 3 hour delays each way thanks to Swissport and even longer to wait for our cases on arrival back at Manchester. Enjoy your stay on that wonderful island!
