Thank you, it’s a great hotel, my only criticism so far is we have a pool view room and the music is loud until 10pm but the air con blocks it out most of the time. Love the Easy access to I drive and never waited more than 5 mins for a bus to/from citywalk

Great travel day - Thanks for sharing! Seems the afternoon tea has improved - Glad they dropped the seeded bread. Looking forward to following along with the rest of your trip! I'd recommend using uber for transfers if you're not driving. :) We can't wait to get back on Virgin Atlantic next month for our own VS73 adventure - no doubt delayed like yours! We were in the 'old' terminal in November last year and it looks like that's where it's going from most days currently. Hopefully that changes and we get lucky to avoid the long way back to the other side of the terminal!

Thank you, yes we’ve used lyft this time as seems to be cheaper. We were in the new part of the terminal this time and vs75 was the old part but I’ve seen others say the opposite

Question, have you flown before to Orlando before on Virgin, on the 747? How does the A350 compare? More comfort? Quieter? And are you sat in Economy Delight?

The a350 is a lot comfier and a nicer environment but will never be as good as the 747 for nostalgia. We were the front row of economy so had lots of legroom but the seats are comfier in general and the screens are so responsive compared to the 747

How long did the people from assistance stay with you? There is 4 of us travelling 2 in wheelchairs and worrying that we are really going to struggle with the luggage and have to use the 2nd conveyer belt, we have always just kept our luggage in the past but circumstances are different this time. Couple of questions. Firstly did the WiFi on the plane work. Secondly, I am doing this flight in my own to meet up with family put in Orlando, are both Manchester and Orlando airports easy to navigate through ?

It worked really well. Yes both airports were really Easy. Main tip for Orlando is don’t get a luggage trolly as you can’t take them out the baggage hall and dont put your luggage on the 2nd conveyor belt just keep it as it saves a lot of time

I got the full one as I could stream but it’s really dependant on what you need. There’s messaging with no photos, 1 hour full access and then the full package. When you get luggage and leave the luggage room at Orlando there’s another belt but it takes ages so everyone takes their luggage up the escalator instead

It’s not about being cool or uncool it’s about having a chronic condition that made me need to sleep. I reclined for 1 hour of a 9 hour flight I also moved to the window seat so that I wasn’t reclining at a point where I was making it hard for ppl behind to move around. #bekind

Hi, can I ask about the disabled pass at universal please. I have fibromyalgia, chronic pain and fatigue and crumbling discs in my back and can't stand for long, walk far or do steps. When we went in 2017 I asked about one and told I wasn't classed as disabled. I was on a mobility scooter which I always hire while I am there, as otherwise I would not be able to keep up with my family. 😪. I was so upset that I was questioned it actually ruined my day. I'm actually worse now and dreading in asking for one. Do you have to show your pip letter, is there anything else you need. I have been following your vlogs, and super excited for our holiday next month. Hope you don't mind me asking, just think i might not ask as can't do a lot of rides anyway because of my back. Have a magical holiday xx

Hi, I’m so sorry to hear. You sound exactly like me but worse, it’s absolutely horrible isn’t it. When we went to guest services they asked why we needed the pass and I said due to Fibromyalgia and anxiety I get tired really quickly even if I had a chair which limits my time in the parks so I would struggle to do more than 1 ride per day. I had a letter from my GP but I don’t qualify for pip (that’s a debate for another day 😂) but they wouldn’t even look at the letter as they said they’re not able to ask for medical evidence. I think it’s more about focus on the mental impact than the physical impact and you’ll be fine but I’ve read that as soon as you mention physical side they say hire a wheelchair. We’d be lost without it as there’s no way I could wait for 120-300 mins for a ride even sat in a wheelchair it would be too much. They way it works is if the line is more than 30 mins they give you a return time of the advertised wait minus 30 minutes. If the line is less than 30 minutes they let you straight on in the express line so we’ve been picking an area and doing a return time for the big ride then doing the little rides whilst we wait so it’s all in one area and less walking. Good luck with it and I really hope you get it this time as it sounds like you deserve it! Thank you so much for watching. @@OhanaOf3 bless you, It really is when I look at our old vlogs and I'm walking normal it upsets me. The pain on some days is horrendous isn't it. I also have depression, anxiety, panic attacks and ptsd. Some days are worse than others. Well i hope you get it one day ( pip) if you ever need to chat my inbox is always open. Sometimes it helps having someone who listens to you that knows what you are going through. Thanks for the info, I'll definitely give it a go. I'll let you know, watch this space haha. It’s so horrible, yesterday I was fine and today I’m in bed at 5pm it’s just so unpredictable. If you get the chance I’d advise try to do the DAS online in advance as you get to choose 2 rides per day before you get there a bit like the old fast pass. We’ve been lucky we’ve had storms each day but been able to enjoy them from our room and not get caught up so far.
