Travel Day to Orlando, Florida | Manchester Airport to Melbourne | Tui | Endless Summer Dockside

It's travel day! This trip really didn't feel real until we got to the airport!
We flew from Manchester Airport and visited the 1903 lounge which is an adults only lounge. We really enjoyed it! We flew with Tui to Melbourne Airport and then hopped on the coach to Universal's Endless Summer Dockside.

Stayed at Dockside Inn myself in Tower 2 at the beginning of September and it was absolutely amazing! The food there and everything was beyond amazing, I'd definitely stay there again!

@@TD3Vlogs I think we might possibly have been on the same flight, we left on the 24th of september for 2 weeks and during the hurricane we were totally abandoned by TUI. I sent messages and just got the same automated reply every time. On our travel home day our flight was delayed from 7pm to 9:30pm and then the transfer coach didn't turn up at Royal Pacific. At first when I asked on the app they said they were 'sorry for the delay and sorting it out' then they said blamed us and said their driver told them we didn't turn up and we'd need to uber when we were there miles early. We waited over an hour before they finally agreed they'd got it wrong and sent a van to collect us. Apparently TUI transfers have been not turning up for months according to the people at the hotel we spoke to. It's put me off ever flying with them again. Glad it wasn't just us.

A sneaky trip to Orlando, you can't beat it. Did it myself in November. I have been looking at possibly doing TUI as a possible trip back to Orlando as there deals can be reasonable, around half price. The transfer is something that I have wondered about. Hope you enjoyed yourself at HHN, lift off for us is not long now. It's like old times with you in Orlando, I can't believe it's been over 5 years since you started on that Hard Rock trip.

Hi guys,your like me I like to get to the airport to early just incase something happens on the way as you never know,the lounge seemed OK money wise but do you only get 2 hours then and can you take any bottles of drink out with you when you leave?so I couldn't do those seats on the plane I always have to have a window seat,you did well to get a pool view as normally you have pay extra,so I think you guys are a bit😉😁awesome and look forward to more vlogs,hope Jimmy and hollie are having an awesome time without you😆🤙👌👍

Helloo! We are thinking experiencing a tui flight (1hr30 transfer, how was it?) as it seems we will save £250. Or would you recommend extra £250 and travel Virgin?

Hi there, personally if it is £250 in total rather than per person I would definitely fly with Virgin. It is a long old bus transfer and Melbourne is not a patch on MCO. We have had a few poor experiences with TUI. Have a great time either way 👍

We went on the 4th September and flew into Melbourne, we didn’t get a goodie bag either! We ended up getting an Uber back to the airport as we were dropped off at the shuttle station at royal pacific so went back there for the transfer, we missed the transfer as we should have gone to the lobby but Tui paid us within 5 days. The jury’s out on Melbourne, it would have to be significantly cheaper than MCo so we could uber which would save so much time.

I wouldn't book with TUI again unless it was an absolute steal. I'm not suprised that you had an issue with your transfer back - we had problems too and it was a shambles. Zero organisation and zero communication. Hope you still had a blast 😎

Hi Kris. We were but we were perfectly safe and comfortable in our hotel and were sad to see what was happening to peoples lives and property elsewhere in the state. We are not in to clickbait and didn't record anything over the two days so you won't be seeing anything from us regarding that. Hi - not going to lie, the soundproofing between the adjoining rooms is non-existent. You could hear even a regular conversation. We were very lucky we had good neighbours so no issues on this trip. I can't say we noticed any noise problems at Surfside in 2019 so that may be a better option?

We've flown tui a couple of times this year to melbourne and for an airport experience have to say MLB is great - 15 mins for the win! Stayed at dockside in June and loved it aside of getting covid on day 2 so it was more a quarantine hotel 🙈 but thought it was clean, comfortable and the staff were amazing! Favourite food court of all the universal hotels as well. Giving me all the feels watching your arrival (even though we have a bit of trauma from how ill we were) but definitely enjoyed the vibe there overall and would choose it again in future.

Nice to see Melbourne for the first time . I like how quick you got through but not too keen on that wait and transfer 😳. On September 23rd we flew virgin to MCO and went straight upstairs and ordered a Lyft , it was so quick and stress free and was about $30 . We always stay at Aventura now it’s nice and compact and your never far from your room . Me and my wife Chris did our first ever kid free holiday back in 2019 and celebrated our 25 th wedding anniversary At Aventura and Carribean beach 🏖. We are grandparents now but still love Orlando 😍😍🧱👍🏼

Endless summer looks nice, very similar to Aventura. Bit tight of TUI not to hydrate you on that bus. @@TD3Vlogs Me and my wife seen some cheap flights to Corfu start of July ! Asked the mother in law to look after our little one and headed out there for a few days. We live in Halifax and never travel in the morning just in case the M62 is closed for some reason. As it was last minute hotels at the airport were £300 plus ! I just thought there must be some a 5/10 minute drive away and found the Premier Inn Trafford centre was £35 and free parking. And only ten minutes away :)

We're back home already Tony. We were there Saturday 24th for a week. On the Sunday we arrived at Islands for early park entry at 08:00am and left HHN in Studios at gone 02:00am. Incredible day 😊🎢🎃 Hope you have a good weekend 👍

Thank you Mel 😊 I think the Hurricane has showed some people for what they are and it doesnt sit well with us either. Sitting in a safe hotel room and trying to sensastionalise the experience for a view or two is pretty low when people were losing their homes and even their lives. We were on the 1903 loung a couple of weeks ago, not impressed there was hardly any cooked food out and no forks ! Much prefer the other cheaper lounges to be honest x

My Wife worked for a company in Canada that delt with extensive travel, you are actually better off without the use of storage space. Put your suitcase on a luggage rack. Take your clothes directly out of your luggage to wear, if it's something you must hang up use a zippered suit bag, the reasoning behind this is the slight possibility of bed bugs. If you bring them home they are horrendously difficult to get rid of and extremely costly with professional pest services. You say what about dirty clothes, put them in a CLEAR garbage bag so cleaning staff know its clothes and not remove it. Keep bag closed at all times stuff it into your suitcase when you leave. Wash your clothes promptly when you return. Put your empty suitcase in a large garbage bag spray some people safe insecticide in it, close it tightly. Bed bugs can survive for 8 months without food.

(No pajama parties for your children.) 85% to 95% of the time you will be completely safe on a rare vacation depending on your destination.
