Travel day to The Big Island of Hawaii || Checking into Hilton Grand Vacations Resort & Room Tour

Hello and welcome to Hawaii vlogs. In today's video we travel 10 hours to Hawaii. We wake up at Waikoloa Village, which we only stayed there for one night, until we check into our other resort for the duration of our trip. This is a timeshare resort. We are not timeshare members. However, we sat through a timeshare presentation, and they offered us to stay at a timeshare, and we chose this one.
We walk around the Waikoloa Village, see whales, shop at the local grocery store and I share a tour of the Kingsland Hilton Grand Vacation room we are staying in.

Island vacations are known to be expensive. Not only food but a lot of other things are shipped to the island. $50 a person for breakfast buffet is average, if not on the low end for Hawaii. If you can afford to go to Hawaii for 10 days than you can afford to pay the normal prices of food on the island. How could you forget so soon how expensive Hawaii was from your trip less than a year ago?

I didn’t forget at all. I’m also aware of why it’s expensive as well. That resort we paid $50 pp for a buffet breakfast. Which is outrageous for anyone on any budget, regardless if they can afford a trip to Hawaii for 10 days or not. At the current resort we paid $25 pp for SAME EXACT breakfast Buffett, just at a different location. Make that make sense. Also, I shared the prices of the breakfast to let others know what to expect when they are here.

@@AngieKadow73Regular resort vs timeshare property prices. Like I said, $50 a person for breakfast buffet is average in Hawaii at hotel resorts for All the islands. You are on an island in which a vast majority of the goods are shipped by boat or plane. I remember you saying the same thing about expensive food prices in St. Thomas too. Again, it’s an island.

That resort is beautiful and massive, and the water coming on the rocks is an amazing sight. The water looks so clean. You and Brian look so relaxed and you just got there. Have fun!!!

Just beautiful. I have been to Maui twice and enjoyed the scenery so much. We took a island tour and learned a lot about the island. Paradise in earth. Just beautiful. Enjoy
