I took my older kids to Boston last summer and we loved it. We did the Freedom walk, did make a day out of Salem, and I adored walking down the alleys and through little Italy. The food looks incredible, and I love the quaint historic feel of the city, so much character. Kind of reminds me of Old Montreal a little bit - which also happens to have great food and fashion!

Wow! I love these vlogs! I am at a point in my life that I don’t really get to travel anymore (and really miss it!), so it is great being able to do this through your eyes. I made one trip to Boston years ago, and it was a really special trip, and I loved the history and shopping. One fun fact that stuck with me is that in one of the really old cemeteries, somebody decided at a point way back when that the tombstones were not arranged in a manner that was esthetically pleasing. They REARRANGED the markers to what they thought was an acceptable manner without regard to the graves. In other words, if one were to visit Great Uncle Harry’s grave, the actual remains may not even be close to the marker. After a certain point and with the passing of generations, nobody even knew where his remains were actually located. I also remember picking up chestnuts in the cemetery, something we really don’t have in Louisiana. I was amazed you felt comfortable walking by yourself at night, a fact which speaks well for Boston. You were beautiful, as always, and I LOVED your hair. ❤

I went to BU many years ago and lived in Boston for 5 years! While all the restaurants have changed...I remember shopping at the Prudential Center, Saks and Newberry Street!! Great Memories! Enjoy!!!!
