Hey Chris, I'm making my 4th trip, in less than 2-1/2 years, to Thailand in less than a week! My Thai wife and I plan to drive her car from Patong to Donsak on 3/29/23. Then ferry it over to Koh Samui. On 4/3/23, we plan to ferry everything to Koh Phangan (Full Moon Party!). Then, on 4/7/23, we'll ferry from Koh Phangan to Donsak, then drive to Patong. This video answered all of the questions I had regarding the drive from Patong to Donsak. Thanks!

The old section of the bridge you were on in Phuket has a history - it's aka "The Lover's Bridge". The story goes - rich young girl, poor young man fall in love yet, her family forbids it. Next thing you know - the two tie themselves together, and jump into the water to be together for eternity. Also - the pier on Samui is called the Nathon Pier. Been looking for airline tickets lately - we'll be back soon!

Nice video as always! A tip for a proper pronunciation of the Phang Nga Province, while the "ng" at the end of "Phang" is still stuck in your throat, add a long "aaa" at the end. You can use this trick with other Thai words that starts with "Ng" as well, just imagine an imaginary word in your head which ends with "ng" and get that "ng" stuck in your throat and start the word with that

They are popular for surfing for beginners, the beach call Memories beach, the vibes is different from others beach in Thailand. Khao Lak town itself very beautiful and plenty of budget & Luxury hotel. I love my hometown hope everyone can see it .

Renting a car to get there would cost more than flying for a single traveller, but I thought you'd be showing people how to get there by local transportation which is how most travellers got around Thailand before mainstream tourists became far more common, rather than adventurous backpacker types.
