It was awesome to watch that huge car freighter lowered in the lock. Also, I don't know if you're aware of the history, but perhaps the reason why parts of Panama City remind you of the US is that Panama City and the Canal Zone was a US territory from the time that the canal was built until the late 1970s.

Hi Lena, 🚢 The engineering of how the canel works is very interesting... I watched a 30min video on its workings and its mixing of waters, I think, fresh and salt water is a feature... 🦘 I hope Jackie is well and you find each other in 2025 🥂
