Hi there Linna and family. It was lovely to see dome of your trip. Gosh I loved the architecture at Matzumoto castle I think it was...or maybe it was a temple? The snow was amazing too. Such lovely scenery. Thanks for taking us with you ❤

You both are great parents. I am 70 and I remember doing so many things with my kids and now with my grandson. Memories are wonderful to have and to leave your children. My grandson is 12 and he is very funny he will talk about the good old days haha, . My son is in his 40's and he likes to talk about the many things I did with him and his sister. I was a single mom and I am the lucky one to be in most of their memories. I love your cooking podcasts too but I don't think I have seen any new ones but then again it is more important to be with your sweet children

How beautiful Linna the scenery was amazing and all the wonderful food. Like you I can't take anything too salty. The tulips remind me if Holland in the spring with rows and rows of tulips and of course our own Scilly Isles with their beautiful daffodils. The boys had a good time too.❤

Hope you enjoyed your travels. Thank you for taking us along on your family trip. I hope one day I can show my daughter more of the Japanese countryside, other then just Tokyo. I always love these regional specialties, whether it is in a restaurant or in stores. It makes travelling so much more fun and since most of it is food it doesn't clutter things in the house too much (only the pantry for a little bit hahaha). I think the running is a kids thing. my daughter does it as well. Usually my hysband joins her😅🤣 Though the western style breakfast looks good if I had the choice I would always go for a Japanese one. I rather have rive then bread hahaha. For me somehow it is always strange to see so many tulips in Japan. Growing up in the nNetherlands we saw these everywhere and often had them as cut flowers. even the packaging they put the souveriers in is something you often see here. My daughter would love all the squid things! Just last night see asked if we could get squid and octopus when we were in Tokyo this summer. I told her that sometimes (esecially in Osaka) you can get a whole mini octopus on a stick, often with a boiled quail egg inside. The really wanted to try that hahaha. probably the only non Japanese/Western child getting excited about eating something like that. We often just buy something in the supermarket instead of going to restaurants as you don't have to wait in line and it's quiet in your room. Never seen the muscat or peach yogurt drinks. I have to look out for them as they look delicious. I'm not letting my daughter see the blueberry daifuku because see would want that. And I never have seen that in Tokyo. I did see an interesting somewhat new store selling dango in Harajuku so perhaps we'll go ther ebut I nver been a gree=at gan of Harajuku and haven't been there for at least 10 years.

I totally agree. I love the nature out of the city! There are so many places to explore even I stay in Japan 😊 The muscat or peach yogurt drink is quite common. I can see them in the supermarket or convenience store here in the Kanto area! I am excited for your trip to Japan soon! 😃
