My question is about the little disposable pre-sealed pouches of products you keep in your travel supplies at home, such as sunscreen, insect repellent, face creams, lotions, etc. Where do you find those? I asked at a cosmetics counter at a high-end department store and they pulled out little jars with lids. I'd like something much lighter for travelling, like what you have. 🙂
@TheoryofSimple

@@melaniejf4191 sometimes they are samples from certain products and sometimes they are things that I’ve gotten because I purchased something and they’ve stuck something in my bag for me. It’s getting harder to get these little samples like that. I know Seto if you go to a Shiseido store generally will have samples like that.😊

The extension cord you showed is the exact same as mine - it has a 2 pronged outlet & receptacle that you plug 2 pronged items into (I use it for the same reason as you). However, you cant plug a “grounded” 3 pronged plug into it (like nearly all laptops plugs have). So I also take an adapter its called a “2 Pole to 3 Pole Grounded Plug Adapter” - so it has 2 prongs (male) on one side of the adapter (that plugs into the extension cord) & on the top of the adapter it has 3 holes that allows you to plug a 3 pronged item into it. I also take a grounded *mini* surge protector too for countries that have power fluctuations issues (eg Africa) or I use it in an old houses that may not be up to code & fluctuate.
@TheoryofSimple

@@sem-w7329 true! If you have a laptop cord that needs a three prong outlet this won’t work. Since I’m using Apple products, I do not require that, and I can charge through the anchor charging brick quickly.😊 I used to carry that two pole to three pole converter, but now that I have this extension cord, I not worried about that as much. @@TheoryofSimple I have a multi-USB charger that I plug it into. It would work on a MacBook (not sure about an iPad though). Amazon also sells a "Satechi USB-C 10W Extension Charging Cable" which is just a short 5 inch extension cord for the Satechi Apple Watch charger that gives you a bit more flexibility. It's just a tiny cord rather than a long one that you have to coil up. It's a much more compact setup than traveling with the cord that Apple supplies for the watch.

Especially if I am traveling internationally, I like to take an Anker Prime 6-in-1 Charging Station (140W). It might seem a bit bulky at first, but the cord is removable so it can slip into a space for storage, and has several advantages. For the use of one plug adapter, if using a foreign outlet, it will give you two US standard outlets. It gives you two USB "A" and two USB "C" outlets, along with the aforementioned power outlets. It also reduces the weight on the wall outlet to that of a cord, like your extension cord would also do; important if the wall outlet is loose. It allows more flexibility in where you plug it in, to where you need the power. It has sufficient watts to keep a computer and your other devices charging at the same time. It has a display to give you an idea of how many watts you are using. Note that if you are using the household current outlet that will not show on the readout, only items plugged into the USB sockets. I waffled over the increase in weight, but ended up taking along a Anker MagGo Wireless Charging Station (Foldable 3-in-1), which I plugged into the above power adapter. Thus I did not need its included power adapter. This allowed my to conveniently charge my watch and iPhone. If I had air pods I could have also charged those. I especially liked you little pouch of adapters. Those could be very convenient. I also liked your power bank too, but would probably have to forgo that as I took along two alternatives. One was the older Anker 5,000 mAH mag save charger. It saved me from a discharged iPhone after taking a lot of pictures in a museum. Thus, I was very happy that I did not have to find out if my iPHone really would have enough residual energy to use the transit pass on my iPHone. The other was an Olight Baton 4 Premium Edition flashlight and charging case. The charging case will also serve as a powerbank. I coupled that with an Olight Perun 2 mini headlamp/right angle flashlight. That conveniently may also be charged in the same charging case. If necessary the lights may also be operated in the charging case with its lid open. The charging case contains a 5,000 mAH battery which adds some weight, but since it also will serve as a powerbank for one's phone, and such, it is worth it. That reminds me of a flashlight review video I was watching. One of the comments was by someone watching the video who got caught without power in an Orlando hotel. He had a flashlight(s) with him but after that experience wanted to upgrade. As the extremely powerful Hurricane Milton will probably soon be passing through Orlando, with wind and rain. after it its the gulf coast of Florida, it reminds me that having this set could be very useful. The Baton 4 plus charging case could give one up to 130 days of light at its 0.5 moonlight level. Obviously that will decrease as you use higher levels. I'm not sure that Olightstore provides the weight of the package...actually they do...Baton 4 Standard: 1.85oz / 52.5g (Battery Included); Baton 4 Premium: 6.84oz / 194g (Charging Case and Battery Included) which does match the 6.9 ounces on my postal scale which would round up. I also usually take the headband along so that I can use the Perun 2 mini as a headlamp. One last comment, know the cords, and adapters, that you are taking along. I have one remaining micro USB device, my Kindle Oasis eInk eReader. I had a micro USB cord along to charge it. I ended up wanting to transfer a book to it. I found out that cord would not transfer data. Ironically our daughter had a small 6" or so Olight micro USB cord in her cord bag that would also transfer data. Since it folds in half and magnetically adheres to itself, it is so small she had probably left it in the cord bag. The amount of power rating if charging larger devices, and possible video transfer would be other considerations.

@@donaldstrader7241 thank you so much for giving us your ideas and gadgets. I do have that anchor 140 W station however, the issue I have with that is it doesn’t have any two prong or three prong plugs in it in case I wanna plug in things like my hot pot or my cooking pot. If I don’t have those cooking things with me that anchor six and one is a great gadget. The six and one charging cord that I have has a micro USB on it, and I specifically carry it for exactly the reason you stated. I have one device that still has a micro USB port and until everything switches over to USB-C, I have to carry that.😊💕 truly appreciate your feedback and giving us all of your gadgets and ideas😊

@@jackeddemon I think I'm missing something on the Rolling Square in Charge X. I guess I don't understand how that works to significantly reduce the number of cords you need. It looks like to me, if you're android only, you would only be able to charge to items with each cord. When I travel , I alone have at least 5 items that need to be charged on a nightly basis. I would have to have 3 of these to charge my devices. At $30 a pop that's a lot of money versus bringing 6 cords that I can buy cheaply. The USB cords don't really take up much space. Please, please explain what I'm missing. Thank you.
