Travel on Amtrak's Sunset Limited - [San Antonio to Houston Texas] Train #2

My version of a "short film." This is a montage of footage shot while taking Amtrak's Sunset Limited train number 2 from San Antonio TX to Houston (summer 2019). It's shot from a railfan's perspective but the train travel experience is well captured. Little did we know that this would be our last time traveling anywhere for more than a YEAR! As the world and all non-essential travel shutdown in late January 2020 due to Covid 19 global pandemic.
The train arrived into San Antonio on-time and departed on-time after some switching action by Amtrak's Texas Eagle train #22. San Antonio is the terminus for the TX Eagle so sleeper coaches are switched from the Sunset Limited to the Texas Eagle here. This allows travel from southern California - Chicago. Los Angeles is the Sunset Limited's terminus.
The train ride was great, there was plenty of scenery to enjoy as we ate a great breakfast shortly after heading out of San Antonio. I overlaid the music playlist that I played during the trip. Hopefully you enjoy the relaxing sights and sounds that I was able to capture.
