Thank you B&H. I continue to learn so much from your sponsored videos and talks. Old and new.

Today I picked up my camera with a new enthusiasm after watching your talk last night, Lester. The early morning alarm didn't make me hide under the bed covers & the tripod never felt so light. The panic of getting to the location was replaced by the simple joy of being there instead. The view through the lens never felt so good. Many thanks.

Simple facts, fantastic sharing empathy, no frivolous complexity thrown in to make it look complicated. Thank you.

Thanks for sharing, Lester. Love your easy going style, and the sense that life, and indeed photography, is all one great adventure that we can enjoy if we put our minds to it. ... Muchos gracias!

B&H videos are some of the best resources out there. Guys thank you so much for taking the time to share these with us, beside running what is probably my favorite camera shop online. Seriously.

I was on a trip in Giant Mountains, Czech Republic, near the end of one hike, there were those giant steep stairs made of chunks of rock, each step was over a foot tall, and when the group I was with made it down, I turned around and wanted to take a shot of the stairs, but without a person for scale, they just looked mediocre, like normal stairs, it was impossible to tell how big they were from a photo. I didn't want to wait for strangers to come and I didn't want to make anyone from my friends to go up the stairs again just for that one photo, so I missed that shot. Just got remimded of it while watching the video. great and sensible advice, some of which I have already figured out the hard way, but I really appreciate videos like this! Very helpful and informative!

Amen on the three Ps. For me. the Nikkor 14-24 f.2.8 and the 24-120 f.4 cover almost everything I shoot. That may not work for everyone, but it does for me.I'm still using a D800 body; Kodachrome 25 was my go to film.

TIP: if you have Lightroom for post production.. you can "Photo merge" two or more photos together & create wide angle shots ( Panoramas ) making any focal length lens into a wide angle...

Looking at the world through a screen might be like looking at the world through a straw if that straw could be expanded by pinching and zooming but I'm not aware of such a straw.

42:45 - That's the sunset, not the sunrise. Camera is facing East for that picture of Toronto. Also, that picture must be ancient, there's no CN Tower!

Anakin Yang : Bear in mind that depending on what screen you are watching on hues will look different, especially if your screen is not calibrated properly. Perhaps they are all greener than usual but I am not getting that on my iPad or my laptop. Might be your screen dude.
