I am always trying to be the “student”, listening, taking your advice, and actually applying it and working the problem to see what best suits my knees for myself and my family. That being said my question is I have a two year-old son and a six-year-old daughter and a pregnant fiancé, right, so what is your advice when it comes down to the “CSGAS/SPRAY”? And your thoughts on mask for the kids? Would I be wasting too much time if I was in that scenario or situation trying to pop smoke and deploy gas mask on the kids, and my pregnant fiancé, as well as myself. Making sure they’re squared away ready to go just seems like it would take too long. I don’t mean to sound selfish at all, but I feel like we all would benefit way more if I was to quickly shape up myself with gear, so I can handle, be confident enough to take control of said scenario? (I’m sorry for all the word vomit!) -I know there’s so many “what if’s”. I would just like to hear your opinion, take on scenarios. Like if I should prepare kids, and fiancé and make ready gas mask for them as well? In Florida, the castle doctrine ends when you leave the vehicle. So make sure you understand the laws for protecting your family before jumping out of the pan and into the fire. Also in Florida, it's not a big problem if you have to use your car to "move" threats out of your way on the road, they are not allowed to stop you, you are allowed to keep moving to protect yourself. I feel bad, for people that don't live in a state with some sense.

When I tackled him he knicked his head on the porch nothing bad so I am charged with assault ans felony witness intimidation amd California wants me to do 6yrs so I left California lol. I'm getting money saved up to hire a good lawyer and hopefully that will help. The public defender I had was horrible I swear he was gonna let me get thrown under the bus. Only reason I didn't call the cops becuae my brother had a indoor grow of weed on that same property and didn't want to bring attention to anything. It's shitty becuase going to jail is one thing but coming out and being completely homeless is terrifying

I’ve watched several of his videos and I am impressed with the rational take on not making eye contact, not worrying about damage to the vehicle and allowing a de-escalation of a road rage incident. As of late, I have watched intently at the person with my weapon kept out of sight. His thought process of the situation is simply superior than mine as I’m preparing for an escalation that will lead me to a possible prison sentence. Orange bear spray in the car? The simplicity of that and being less than lethal is actually pure genius. Big thank you for making me think in a different way sir.

Yeah, well, the key word there is "unintentionally". If you intentionally harm people with your vehicle while fleeing, meaning, you're running people over, that's still illegal. It's important to know how to interpret the law so you don't do something brash and idiotic. This bill is essentially just protecting you from people who are throwing themselves in front of your vehicle KNOWING there is no possibility for you to evade hurting them, based on your speed. You can't run someone over who's just standing in front of your vehicle because that's obvious malicious intent.

Durning Covid, when they had the item purchase limits, I was still having to travel over the road back-and-forth from Chicago to Orlando so I would stock up on stuff for family members in both locations. Also, the number of people let of prison early to make room for more people who will not serve their sentences. There have been many who have previously identified how FBI does not receive ALL the data. It is voluntary submission by the municipalities. You stick with your 71% decrease. Go for it. I do my own qualified risk assessments. Cities offer little. If the VA hospital was not there, I would NEVER go. Cities are feral. The police there are as bad as the criminals and stupid, average IQs are at a record low. The cities are overloaded with illegals. Good advice, excellent think through. I personally vary a go to bag also. Exception is I carry four flash bangs. M80s work as well if you have the ability to light and deploy. Use of orange smoke is great, combined with orange spray, makes perfect sense. I got caught up in the Oakland freeway riots, those assholes had pistols. It got 150% hairy real fast. I evaded but it was real friggin close. Lessons learned. Reminded me of duty with Omega 40, Afghanistan .

I live in the outskirts of LA, after the 2020 riots, I keep a very similar get home bag. Only thing i have that i deafinitely recommend is a shamagh for blending in. For some reason all the rioters wear them, so i keep what they keep if i need to hoof it.

Have had orange bear spray among some other things, along w/various types of go bags (minimalist to multi-day trek, gloves included thanks to PatMac recs as well), however, change of clothes and smokes were not in there. Thanks for that. Luckily - castle doctrine applies in my state, however, not sure how long or if it will be upheld given state governing and legislative body leans heavy left, especially these days. Best to try to de-escalate and disengage as much as possible, really should be used as last resort. That was my MO in those situations growing up.

Now it's been known to do all the law enforcement training and so many other things that in the case of you defending your rights it's better to provide the opposing aggressor and violent individual it is better to have them carried in a plastic bag by potentially two then by ruling by 12 that is in your best interest just know that when your life depends on it you need to demonstrate that you feared your life and you need to stay on that ground do not deviate and do not State any off topic subjects State how do you fear your life and the life of your children and your wife and one good way would be how is it that you're going to be able to handle two young children under 10 and a wife that is not combative in any sense of the means of defense or anything and I say that in a strong sense because I have a female that does not give a rat's ass about any of that and when the day does it come it'll be complicated because of said hemorrhoidal person in your life. But I'm able to overcome and adapt. You need to instruct the significant persons that are in your life to follow your path meaning when I was very young at the age of 18, 19 and you have someone that is significant in your life or frequently in your life then you should advise them that your premeditated thoughts what you where you stand in things like this. I know a few guys that said the guys miserable to work for. In garrison. Fighting, they couldn't name a better person to have at their side. Most would say the guys problematic, but not anyone thats ever experienced combat. As a Marine, I'd put up with the difficulties for a leader with this guys track record anytime.

I would also suggest that you always have your registration or anything with your address on it on your person never leave it in the glove box or in the car no matter what the state law says. That way if your car gets broken into or somebody wants to get a little payback they don't know where you're at,

In my state, once you break that window.. you're meeting my G19 or my ARP in .300blk. They both stay very, very close to me at all times.
