Today I want to share a vlog about my first time in Bangladesh! 🇧🇩 For those who don't know, I am filipino but my husband is from Bangladesh - this is the first time I am going to Bangladesh to meet his family and experience their beautiful culture!
In today's vlog, you guys will meet my husband's family for the first time! I met some of them during our wedding in melbourne but my husband has so many new baby cousins so both he and I got to meet them for the first time! I also tried so many incredible bengali food! To name a few, I tried chitoi pitha, ghura gosh, carrot halwa, biryani and lots and lots of tea!
Finally...... I maaaaayyy also be getting married again?....

ABOUT ME:
Hey guys welcome to my channel! My name is Samantha but you can call me Sam and I am a newly wed/ med student/ muslim convert. I converted to Islam in August 2015 and I put my story up on youtube shortly after I told my parents about my reversion to Islam. The video got a lot of attention from other reverts looking for support and just people in general so I continued this channel to document my journey.
Speaking of journeys... I also started my journey in medicine as I got into Med School on April 2018! It's a long road ahead and its only gonna get harder from here but I thought I would share my experience in Med School as it might help other aspiring doctors out there! I was in the UK for about 7 years for my higher studies but I did not like it and came back home. I love Indonesia and its nice people as a Muslim country. All countries unfortunately have these crimes. They say the same about Philippines and people even say the same about America esp with police brutality, school shootings and racism. But every country has its pros and cons and we all just have to stay alert no matter where we go ❤️ the world is too vast and too beautiful to not explore due to said fears. We just need to pray, travel smart and stay alert 🚨❤️
