Great video thank you for sharing so much great information. Although I’ve learned a lot it’s always reassuring. I’m moving to Playas Del Coco. Love it there. Bought a place. I fly out 8/29/22.

Great video! Thank you guys! I do wish the wife wouldn’t talk over her husband the whole time 😢 But I guess if he’s ok with that, who’s to judge. But it would be interesting to hear his perspective as well. Anyhow, just a thought and thank you again!

Thank You for posting your video. It answered many questions that I had, as I’m planning my first trip to Costa Rica this winter for two months. I’ve chosen the DelCoco area also. I’m very excited and of course a little apprehensive as I’ll be traveling alone

Appreciate you sharing. And, thanks for watching. We hope to go down in April, if our plans goes as planned. If so we'll bring you more. Pura Vida, as they say C.R.

Thank you so very much! We are investigating buying a studio apartment or similar close to Playas del Coco, and we've never been there. I know that sounds risky, but we have faith in our realtor and are doing as much research as possible before prices go up post Covid. While nowhere is perfect, it sounds as though it would be pretty close to that for us.

That's awesome. Best of luck. Thanks for sharing. We think it's pretty special too.

I flew into Liberia. Just be careful with connecting flights. You need insurance the roads are horrible. Huge crater of holes. Gas is in liters

I’m in the process of buying the type of condo you were talking about. I have wanted to move to Costa Rica for the past twenty years. I now have the opportunity to do so. The condo is in Ocatol. I’m looking forward to the move.

I’m from New Brunswick and really enjoyed your video. Very informative. I have been looking at playa del coco could you tell me What is the music scene like there. Is there lots of live music or festivals. Is most of the music in Spanish or English. Also Are thereplaces to play pool and table tennis there.
@JavaWalkerWorld2 жыл бұрын
Yes Coco has a very good music scene. Yes lots of music and festivals, typically. Music is available in both Spanish and English. Re the pool and table tennis, all I can say is.... I believe so. All the best to you. Later today we have a new YT video coming out, which is on our beautiful Atlantic Canada. Hope you'll watch it and enjoy it. We hope to visit the Maritimes this coming summer.

Great video. Lots of information. I have been looking to do the same as you until I can retire full time down there. I’m from New Brunswick and been looking at playa del coco and Samara. I would also only need a studio like yourself. I would like to spend 600 or under for a studio is this realistic.
@JavaWalkerWorld2 жыл бұрын
Hi. Sorry for the delayed reply. Yes, I believe you could find a basic studio for that price. But in high season it may be double that price. There is a property management company called Coco Group Property Management. They are on Facebook. You should be able to find them. Plus there are many others. Thanks for watching and communicating. It helps our channel.

Hi, we're also Canadians and are interested in visiting San Jose, Costa Rica. Do you have a video about the winter time weather down there, i.e. heat and humidity. Thanks!
@JavaWalkerWorld Жыл бұрын
We don't have a video on San Jose, but have been there. It is in the mountains, so it is colder. The days are nice. Long pants an t-shirt, light jacket. Evenings a little cooler... so maybe a sweatshirt. It is a bit more humid. What comes to mind is cool wind moving through the city in late afternoon. Hope this helps. They have free walking tours available there (check online)...they do appreciate a tip at the end of the tour. Also, you can take a cheap coach bus to Plyas del Coco, which is very hot, (5 hour trip) via Liberia, if I recall correctly $27 return/pp. (That was almost 3 years ago though. We will be there soon, and will include more current content soon. Thanks for watching and hope you will follow our journey.

@@JavaWalkerWorld Happily San Jose isn't too high to have any effects on people! Do you have a video on why you decided to snowbird in Costa Rica instead of Mexico or the Dominican Republic, which has a lot of Canadians? I'm originally from Alberta. ;-)
@JavaWalkerWorld Жыл бұрын
Email Contact.JavaWalkerWorld@gmail.com Been to both of those places. Not as snowbirds, but as a one or two week vacation in a resort. Which is totally different....than renting a condo for three months. I really don't know how to explain it. Other than, Costa Rica has a way of putting a spell on you. You'll have to experience it yourself. Don't get me wrong... it's not perfect, but we like it.

Great video! Thank you. I’ve been to Costa Rica a couple of times and circled Playas Del Coco as a possible place to retire. As a fellow Canadian, any thoughts on the town and what it’s like living there?
@JavaWalkerWorld2 жыл бұрын
We like Playas del Coco. It has everything we need. Close to the airport. Great for transit. Fun night life. Great coffee shops and restaurants. Nice beach. It's has a nice blend of Ticos and Gringos. It has public and private medical clinics. Beautiful views. You can buy fresh fish right on the beach. We personally like the casual vibe. Tamarindo is very nice as well, just a bit more chi-chi. Good luck...we're excited for you. Thanks for watching. We hope to be back in April.

@@JavaWalkerWorld Yes but how long you been living there until you notice there are lots of drugs in the greengo areas because greengos like coke you and have money and it attract all those problems also the beaches are starting to become polluted from so much development i mean you can offset that with high security but still you have to know and accept that risk, those in costa rica who ve been here for 10 year 20 plus go to the mountains...I will be here 20 year next year the mountains are cheaper safer cleaner healthier but we are here to stay for ever not going back to usa for sure we couldnt now we couldnt afford it...

@@JavaWalkerWorld And remember one thing the entire guanacaste region will have serious water problem long term again because the development where you have pools golf courses in a very hot dry area. But all this is relative if you have lots of money and you can just leave if things dont work out. But if you live on the beach specially el coco you have lots of money...
