Those wooden pathways: duckboards (pitkospuut in finnish) can be wery slippery when wet. Also if you use firewood in the national park donations are highly recommended. Donations can be made in the guide/nature center of the park.

Thank you, I appreciate your feedback ☺️ We visited September + October. September is still a nice month, the autumn colors are already starting which is very beautiful. But keep in mind that the Scandinavian countries are getting cold already late August. We had snow in August in Norway in the fjords 😛 so take warm cloth and raining jackets with you. I wish you a great trip!

July is best month in here. Before and after you will meet our little friends (mosquito). Early september can be also good, but probably it's rainy and at night time is quite cold +7 - -5, depends what part of Finland you go. Lapland - From Rovaniemi to top. Best lakes - middle part of Finland (from Jyväskylä to Kuopio) Best beach - Yyteri, city Pori in SW coast. People and most active night life - Helsinki. Turku is also cool place to visit, good food and nice bars among to river. Turku archipelago is also amazing. Welcome to Finland ❤

Yes, if you don’t mind that the weather is already getting colder, plus occasionally wind and rain. The best time for Scandinavia is, of course, summer. But we have been visiting Finland in late September / early October and liked it very much, especially when all the leaves are getting colourful ☺️ and if you freeze, just hop into the sauna 😜q

This depends on what you want to see and do 😉 winter is all about wonder wonderland, auroras, and lots of snow. Summer and autumn are perfect for enjoying the national parks and for hiking, camping.
