It was not yet night when I reached Gyumri, a cold city that gave meaning to the word "winter". But the silence of winter creates for me the image I want of the world. Of course, the cold of this city has not won over the warmth of its people.
Although I hadn't met anyone yet, it seemed to me that there are more humble and kind people here. Of course it was true. My guesses are always right in these cases.
The sound of my breath is different here, it seems to return to me, as if I live for myself, if you know the past of Armenia, you will know the value of every breath in this country. The walls of this city are full of words, so much so that if the human ear heard their voice, they would be deaf; But we all know that we don't need ears to hear words, facts can be discovered by looking. let's move on.
This is the city that Charles Aznavour, the French-Armenian singer, the producer of "La Boheme" helped the city in the earthquake, and now there is a statue of him in a square named after him in the west of the city.
Gyumri is a city where you will feel the variety of amazing architectural styles. It is one of the few Armenian cities where the spirit of the 19th century is still alive. I have a lot of pictures and videos, so I shortened them and the result is what you see.

هنوز شب نشده بود که به گیومری رسیدم، شهری سرد که به واژه ی "زمستان" معنا می بخشید. سکوت زمستان اما آن تصویری که من از جهان می خواهم را برایم می سازد. البته سرمای این شهر، بر گرمای مردمش پیروز نشده.
با اینکه هنوز کسی را دیدار نکرده بودم، به نظرم می آمد که اینجا انسانهای فروتن و مهربانی دارد. که البته اینگونه بود. حدس هایم همیشه در این موارد درست در می آید.
صدای نفسهایم در اینجا فرق می کند، انگار به خودم برمیگردد، انگار برای خود زیست می کنم، اگر گذشته ی ارمنستان را بدانید، ارزش هر نفس در این کشور را خواهید دانست. دیوارهای این شهر پر از حرف هستند، آنچنان که اگر گوش انسان صدای آن ها را می شنید کر میشد؛ اما همه ی ما می دانیم که دیگر برای شنیدن حرف ها به گوش نیاز نیست، با نگاه هم می توان حقایق را کشف کرد. بگذریم.
اینجا شهریست که شارل آزناوور، خواننده ارمنی-فرانسوی، خالق اثر "لا بوهمه" در زلزله به آن کمک کرد، و اکنون مجسمه ای از او در میدانی با نام او در غرب شهر قرار دارد.
گیومری شهریست که در آن تنوع سبک معماری شگفت انگیز را احساس خواهید کرد. این یکی از معدود شهرهای ارمنیست که روح قرن نوزدهم هنوز در آن زنده است. تصاویر و ویدیوهای من بسیار است، بنابراین آنهارا کوتاه کرده و نتیجه اش چیزیست که می بینید.
