Explore Cheng Chau Island and Chi Lin Nunnery. They are must-see places if you are planning a trip there.
Cheng Chau Island can be visited in a day trip, where you have a beautiful beach, no cars and lots of bicycles, hiking trails, natural landscapes and even a former pirate cave. The island can be reached easily by ferry, which you can access from Pier 5 near Central.
Chi Lin Nunnery is in the middle of the city, near Diamond Hill station. You'll find a very relaxing garden, a massive monastery and a waterfall.
