Glad you had your injury checked out Dan! From now on listen to your body...Don't worry I do the same thing. We guys are all the same. My wife gets upset with me when ignore signs/symptoms of medical problem. I am really looking forward to the Scotland leg of your trip. Thanks for taking us along and enjoy those chocolate treats!!

Oh! Oh! Oh! I nearly jumped out of my seat when you said the, "Isle of Mull." Then the goosebumps came out on my skin. A branch of my family, that first came to America in the 1760's was from there. I have always wanted to go. My twin sis went with her hubby, whose ancestry also happens to come from the Isle of Mull, and the Maclaine's of Lochbuie. I can hardly wait, and hope so hope you have a lovely time. They didn't, because they had some very annoying folks with them, that caused them to have to cut their visit short. So sorry to hear you have a fracture, but delighted to hear you are going to Mull. This must be the silver lining in the grey cloud for sure. I'm still so excited I'm jumping up and down! YAY!!! We're off to Mull! Goody, goody, goody!

Take the FULL 8 weeks...dont mess around with it. let it heal 101%, And get some real soft soled shoes, with jell inserts.....walk softly like an Indian. .

Fantastic that you are resting up the leg. Have you considered biking the rest of the way as a way to help keep the weight off the leg for the rest of the journey. Have a wonderful time in Scotland. Trolls.. while in mull try the craignure Inn near ferry landing and the campsite that's across the road. Top place. Plus tobermory pubs ..enjoy mull it's great
