I just returned from LA in August 30rd, 2021. In my opinion you must stay in the hotel and do not go out of the Beverly Hills area. Hollywood Blvd is dirty and nasty full of homeless. In my opinion its not worth it to spend any money in LA. I'm very disappointed about my trip to LA. In top of everything the hotels are very expensive. I recommend you to go and put a tent on any street you will get away with it and not spend a fortune.
