Chicken in Tuscany?😮 It's the land of beef (Fiorentina Steak), olive oil, red wine, and also good fish soup! Pizza is not typical of northern Italy... you were lucky. I understand that you want to eat real italian food, but every italian region has its language, its cusine and its history. Pizza->Campania, Lasagne/pasta->Emilia romagna, Risotto->Lombardy, Beef->Tuscany, Tiramisu->Veneto or Friuli, Pesto->Liguria Cannoli->Sicily... It's like eating Tex-mex in California, or Poke in New York. It's maybe better than outside the US, but can be not 100% as in motherland😊
