Hey dear so she asked for my Int’l passport, admission letter, proof of enrollment (this you will get from your school after you pay for your tuition), tuition receipt. These are all I think they asked me. But know that different points of entries might ask for different things okay. Just come with all you can.

My flight is from Nigeria to Vancouver with Ethiopian airlines. Do I have to get my bags at Toronto then check in my bags again for next flight to Vancouver. Note: from Nigeria to Vancouver is with Ethiopian airlines (though air canada handles from Toronto to Vancouver)

Well, i really don’t know because i didn’t have to join a connecting flight. I booked my flight from Toronto to Regina separately. But I had questions regarding my flight with Ethiopian airline before my trip and all I did was to call them and they provided me with an answer. So just google their contact number and give them a call. They will clear you on this.

It honestly depends on you and how you wish to convert. Let’s say your tuition is 7,000CAD, the school do not care how you convert your money as long as you pay the exact fee. For me I converted my Naira to CAD then used the CAD to pay. You can email your school to find out how best you can pay. They always have suggestions.

No. So here is the thing I hid it somewhere because it weighed more than 7kg. I didn’t want to remove anymore items so I went to hide it. After I weighed and checked in my main luggage , I went to grab it where I kept it. So basically they didn’t weight it.lol 😆 🙈

I've heard that scholarships for international students are practically impossible to get, and sadly without one i won't be able to afford to go. so how was the whole finance-scholarship process/situation for you? did you end up getting a scholarship, how hard was it, what one?

Hi dear, to be truthful scholarship is not so easy to get here especially when you are outside the country. When you make it to Canada you can apply for department/faculty scholarships. Getting a scholarship is easier when you’re already here. For me I didn’t get any scholarships. I’m working and paying my tuition by myself.
