So about the backpack, airlines allow carry-on luggage (8kg for most airlines) and womens hand bags inside the cabin. If its not a womens handbag, it will be seen as carry-on luggage or to be checked in.

Actually, I've heard people say "there's no free wifi" in Cairo airport, this is actually not true, i flew Egyptair through Cairo to Saudi Arabia in October and back to Nigeria in November and i was connected to the internet through my layover at Cairo, you just have to know how to connect to the free wifi at airports. There are Orange network stands at the airport that tells you how to connect to the internet. Also, once you enter the airport, check the free WiFi available, connect to it and then sign in with your phone number, that's all

We tried connecting to the orange network and we were asked to pay for it. We asked almost every store in the airport and they said there was no Wi-Fi. It’s better safe than sorry

It's advisable to get your dollar card before you travel or just change your money to dollar in case u need to buy something when you are outside Nigeria.
