Maddie! It’s official, I just bought a minivan. I’m hitting the road in about a month and a half. Heading West. Thx for all the motivation/inspiration over the past like year of planning. It feels good to finally be so close to all that freedom. I think my van-plan would look a lot different without your channel tbh. @@BeerinBeautifulPlaces I’m trying a no-build approach. I’m using a folding cot that’s about 30 inches wide in the same location that your bed is. And then I’ve got a couple of stackable totes for storage. I was thinking about maybe a little shelf thing like the one that you’ve got, but the ones that I’ve seen while thrifting were a lil too deep. I’m still keeping an eye out though, I’ve got time to tweak things. So if you have any life hacks to share, I’m into it. As far as power goes, I’ve got a Jackery 1000 and two 100W solar panels. I know you had the baby Jackery at the start and it didn’t work for you, but this one is like 20 lbs and could probably power my whole apartment lol. I reckon I’ll probably just pick up some string lights for a little soft lighting in there, definitely don’t wanna over do it with the lights- I’m trying to keep it as chill and cozy as I can

That was Minnesota! Especially in my fourth video, when it rained, they were INSANE! Those flies that came around dinner weren’t bad at all compared to those bugs!
