I'm sure you're beyond Costa Rica by now but if not Playa Hermosa to the north is really nice with several great sites to visit and quaint beach towns. Plus, Liberia is a great place to fly out of on the cheap.

I have travelled all over Europe, Africa and Asia. I would NEVER travel to Latin and South America. You are probably a lot braver than the average man..

Costa Rica is one of the best retirement/digital nomad destinations in Latin America. And best of all, Costa Rica tolerates visa/border runs at they mostly still do in Central America.

Quepos and Manuel Antonio Park in CG's Pacific side South from Jaco Beach are worth seeing. Look for the moneys, walk on the beach and check out the Airplane on the hill-El Avion Restaurant. Great video spots for your blog. Have fun!

Look forward to those videos. Your concept of traveling and retiring is refreshing to watch. All of my friends here in Washington State are stuck on material items. The cost to live here is getting stupid. They just came out with a stat, that you need to make a minimum of $214,000 annual income to buy a house. I am out of here. And our property taxes have gone sky high.@@RetireandGo

Not comfortable in any of the Spanish speaking countries. -- Curious why you skipped over the PHILIPPINES ? -- My limitations as an old man seems to like Siem Reap - overall - especially considering Cambodia's 'retirement' visas for over 55 ! And they speak a lot of English too ! -- You could - live there - and simply visit the other countries ?!? --- Hope you make to the Philippines - especially Tagaytay - just S of Manila. > My kind of place I think - but would love to hear your opinion !!! Extremely scenic and comfortable @ 2000 ft. elevation - fresh cool breezes and fresh organic food all year. --- Great retirement destination it appears to me ?!?
