I'm originally from Nottinghamshire UK but have lived in Florence since 2004. How fortunate I am to live in such a wonderful city

Even though people are walking about, the city is at peace a reflection of the Renaissance

Love the piano background, reminding me of my friend Elijah Bossenbroek's original (and powerful) compositions, played as powerfully as Glenn Gould.

Majestic video with very accurate information, which is so important for those who will travel to gorgeous Firenze (been there so I know the information is accurate). Simply gorgeous video! However, you need to lower the volume on the piano music - it is too loud!

You are very welcome! You deserve high praise for such magnificent work! All of your videos that I have seen (on Italy) are exquisite. Beautifully, beautifully filmed with super excellent information, which is highly valued by me - a traveler, not a tourist (there is a difference). I've been to Italy many times and Firenze is my favorite place on this planet. You do it justice with this video! I only wish it were longer. My only complaint is the loud music. But they are all gorgeous! Will you do any on Greece? The mainland and its islands? Hope you do. Thanks again for such gorgeous videos!

OMG! Videos on Greece, you bet I am going to love them because I love Greece (been there several times)! Thank you for the link and I will definitely view them soon (I haven't been feeling well in several days) and get back to you. I am sure they are as gorgeous as all the ones I have seen already. However I didn't see one on Santorini. So, is it possible you will do one on it in the future? And maybe one on Mykonos? These are Greece's crown jewels regarding it's thousands of islands. Again, thank you for replying and the link.

In this day of gratuitous videos replete with moronic drivel, this narration is a gem! I agree with mibello aleman :-)

Music is too loud. The best way to ruin a video is add music that is too loud or not appropriate for the material.

The Florence Cathedral is not the fourth largest in the world as you say. It's the fourth largest in Italy--after St. Peter's, Milan and St. Paul Outside the Walls.

This video spends so much time on churches that a better title would be "The Churches Of Florence". It's well produced, but the attention given to churches got annoying after a while.

Florence is more than monumental bldgs. It is the home of it's people, and their homes. DULL, & noisy piano, "pretentious"
