Traveler Guitars: Game Changer or Just a Gimmick?

Are guitars made for travel hokey or awesome? When @sweetwater asked me if I wanted to demo a #TravelerGuitar I was immediately on board. After all, I was about to spend 10 days away from home. I figured I'd enjoy the guitar some, but had no clue how much use I'd actually get out of this thing. As it turns out...a lot.

Reasons, I love your content: no guitar snobbery, just straightforward, and really honest, sounding opinions, and playing style. I too am the lucky owner of two of these traveling guitars. One is the model that you have without the wings, and the other is the EG one which is, a kind of single bridge Humbucker Les Paul type. I love both of them, also I'm not too keen on the bridge pick up of the latter. I'll use it when I'm off to a session and don't want to carry tons of junk. The other is just for hotels, airplanes, couch, etc.. Oh yeah, line of this video: my mom wanted a guitar to fiddle around with :-) Keep them coming

This one is actually their design that i liked the best from them. IT is akin to lazer headless. Just hope they make an electric version of it with tele bridge and neck pickup.

Haha you did that Mike Adams behind the bridge strum! It sounds really good and def something to consider if I travel again I usually travel with ukuleles for the size and ease but a guitar would be nice! Sorry for your flying woes! Delta really gone south

i bought a Traveler Aooustic Electric Ultralite on an auction. i put martin strings on it, and plugged it in. it's the worst sounding guitar i've ever played, both directly thru an amp or thru a pedal to try and adjust the tone. is it possible that a setup could fix this? it sounds very bad, like a cheap toy.
