I. Discovered your videos just before December 2022, and I’m slowly working my way through all of them. I love your style of filming and being so very careful to show us everything about your trip and all the facilities on board the train, plane, or ferry. You also have a lovely sense of humour and getting to know your love of vibrating chairs and coffee makes your videos feel very personal. I’m intending to visit Japan later in 2023, or 2024 and your videos have been great inspiration, thank you :-)

My son wants to spend all of July 2023 in Japan as his high school graduation present. I enjoy watching your videos and am trying to imagine ourselves taking the slower approach to traveling in Japan. Thank you or making the videos and I am looking forward to an overnight ferry, night bus, or sleeper train :)

I really prefer your videos over any of the other Japan travel videos that I’ve seen. Your’s feel like a person sharing their travel experiences, while the others feel like promotional videos from a travel agency. I very much prefer the more personal and sometimes even conversational feeling of your videos. That said, don’t be afraid to show yourself in the videos sometimes. I respect that you may want privacy and may not want to be recognized in person, but you did show your face in some of your older videos. You’re a good looking guy, and showing yourself here and there adds to the personal feel of the videos. Thank you for your time and effort sharing these videos with us!

Your videos are always so beautifully filmed and edited. It feels like we're right there with you. It's impressive how the transportation and accommodations are so thoughtfully planned for comfort and convenience. They know how to do it properly. Here in the US, twin is a size of bed, the size in your room. It's meant for a single adult. The name 'twin' came about because two beds of that size were placed in hotel rooms for two people to share a room but not a bed. I'm glad you had a lovely time. Looking forward to more of your adventures.

Thank you for this video. I like detailed all your videos are, like the US conversion and explanations of what things are (e.g., the foods you eat). It's an option I didn't know about. It would be an experience in itself. It's also cheaper than a hotel for the night. I will definitely look into traveling by ferry during my next trip to Japan. Thanks again!

California here (in answer to your question)! Another enjoyable video, as always. Watching it made me think of how my favorite part of a cruise is boarding the ship, before it's set sail, where I'm settling in and getting familiar with the cabin and the boat. I also enjoy watching the ground preparations for setting sail. Watching the ground crew wave reminded me of the first time I visited Japan and saw the crew at the airport bowing at the plane as we taxied away from the gate. Such a lovely and heartwarming custom! And once again, your meals make me hungry. I also love Japanese curry -- every time it's on your plate, I want to go out and eat curry here! Looking forward to your next video. I've been making my way through your whole library, and I'm finally current -- but this also makes me a little sad, because now I have to wait for you to make more each time, LOL!

When you have 'curry' is it just the curry sauce being referred to? OR does it have Beef, chicken...etc in it? It's just when I see Japanese curry watching other channels the 'curry' appears to be very smooth without any meat (or Veg) in it. I cook alot of 'curry' at home here, like Indian, Indonesian, Thai curries. I have yet to do a Japanese curry....so I was just wondering since I'm watching this episode. I'll look it up for recipes later. PS: Thank you for sharing your trips around, very relaxing & enjoyable to watch. Cheers from Australia.
