This was a very fun and long adventure that Chelsea and the kids went on. Thankfully Nana Judy wanted to go for an adventure too. This was April 18th until May 1st.

Love the videos, even if they are a couple months behind the actual month we are in. One comment, no disrespect, but your son is going to think his name is “Brother” instead of Marlin. I’ve never heard one use “Brother” so much, rather than ones actual name.

I have to agree with you I have never known any family refer to their child as brother…don’t understand when he has such a cute name but I’m British so maybe it just isn’t a thing over here.

Its just a nickname. Its very common in Indigenous communities at least around Alaska. We also call him Marlin. He will definitely know his name. We also call Bonnie sister. Thats what I call my siblings.

@@LewisFamilyVlogAlaska well if it’s a common thing there, then it is what it is. Keep on saying it if that’s common in Alaska. Like I said, no disrespect, just something that struck me as odd to hear all the time. I hear you also saying sister as well like you stated. I’ll sometimes say “sis” or “bro” when talking to my siblings, but not that often. Never heard it said so much before. With some members of my extended family it’s common for those parents to say “hey son” to their boys, but you never hear them say “hey daughter”. Me and my close family called people by their given names. The only time we didn’t do that is with an Aunt or Uncle, then on those times we omit their names and just say Aunty or Uncle.
