In all the time I rode that scoot, ALL over Texas, the only breakdowns I had was a broken clutch cable and one night leaving Dallas at 5am, my old points type regulator burned my generator. Still rode it 35 miles to my house. 🍻 The lights wouldn't even glow a tiny bit, but the ignition just didn't mind at all.

This is so true. Our club consists of chopped shovels and panheads. Im old old school and get to solve problems that were problems 50 years ago. We always manage to limp those chops home. My ride is a 70 Thunderbird.

Yea! It usually takes a couple of years of riding a self built custom to sort out its quirks and failings. I just had to replace a melted piston in mine.

Awesome video! You guys still having fun...I still ride the old bike in our group and it's always something. Used to ride a hardtail springer with a coffin tank. Had to ride in back to not spray the other guys...LOL. Problem is- the guys sometimes keep going! We have great memories hanging out having ah road b##r with some of the best banter. People are still cool and stop to help. Remember we're in this together. Rock on , brothers!

I love the sound of an Ironhead Sportster with drag pipes. A REAL Harley - Davidson! 🤪 And one thing you have to admit..... BIKERS ARE SOME OF THE NICEST PEOPLE IN THE WORLD! Good on the two ladies. The weekend warriors I usually see around would most likely NEVER unload their bikes and haul a broken machine of someone they never met, let alone even stop to offer help.

I am a certified HD tech went to MMI In Phoenix Az 08 till late 2010. I did early and late model. I learned that HDs are garbage. They constantly try to tear themselves apart. It would have to be an unbelievable deal for me to ever buy an other HD. Even Sony Barger said if it wasent fot the torker pipe deal he would ride a Honda Goldwing. Goldwings are absolutely unfu****g believable performing bikes.

Harley is outdated, the two cylinder engine is noisy like a diesel, it's useless with a big CC but it runs like a snail. Look at the Honda Gold Wing. From the first time it came out of the 4 cylinder, it continued to innovate until the modern 6 cylinder engine.
