I appreciate the side views. So many are just the road ahead. Those are liked, but side views are nice change.🙂

Thanks for noticing. We wanted you to see what we were seeing along our drives. There is so much more than the pavement ahead. It takes a little more effort, but I think it is well worth it. Glad you're watching. Welcome to the channel.

Excellent video, thanks... Utah Hwy 12 and Burr Trail Rd are our favorites in Utah. Of course, Utah has so many unbelievable drives!

Fantastic video! We're from the UK and fell in love with Utah over a decade ago; we've been many times and are coming back again this year. For us, Highway 12 was one of those "unexpected" highlights a few years ago when we set off along the route without knowing in advance the significance of it. Driving the Hogback scared the cr*p out of us the first time! We've since come to absolutely love it and the surrounding area. Hiking to the nearby Lower Calf Creek falls last year was an amazing highlight. One thing I would say is there's far more to Utah than just the Mighty 5 National Parks (great though they are) - it's a vast State with so much to explore and enjoy.

Andy, so well said! I found that roads that you expect are less memorable than the roads you come across and are surprised. Lower Calf Creek Falls had no parking left when we arrived so we didn't stop to hike. We'll have to return there someday. We'll be visiting Utah for a full month every October to find the many gems Utah has to offer. It's like you said, Utah is far more than just the Mighty Five. Thanks for watching.

Aren't road trips the best!! We were just talking about doing a video on the best scenic drives in our home state of Colorado. The West is such a good place for expansive views.

@@SwitchingGearsRVDiary Please do. This year i’m doing another short roadtrip with my brother in California, Nevada, Arizona and Utah. Next year i want to go to Colorado, Wyoming and Montana. And please ad places to avoid the crowds, i love lonely places. That’s when i really enjoy the landscape, the views, the beauty of the ‘ West’. Next time you visit Utah, make sure you do the La Sal Loop and Castle Valley near Moab, it’s breathtaking. Good luck on your journeys and with the Channel. Greetings from the Netherlands

Thanks for the recommendations. We will definitely check out the area. The only problem I'm seeing with Colorado is there are sooo many scenic roads. We are like you in that we stay away from the crowds. @@bhendrikabel

Utah definitely has some gorgeous scenery. A few miles North of Hanksville, and twenty or thirty miles off the highway is a place that is supposed to be one of Butch Cassidy's hideouts. I think it might be called Robber's Roost. There are the remains of a stone fireplace near a spring where a rough cabin was. It is very hard to find, , but I did find it on Google Earth after much zooming in and out, and following dirt roads.

Nice video. Utah is a beautiful state. I follow some you tubers that live there, they do off road rescue - like you could have used. (Most recoveries are fee of charge)Matt's Off Road Recovery. Really good people. There are others that are friends with Matt and you can see who they are if you view Matt's videos. Might want to keep Matt in mind when trekking Utah. This video is excellent content, so I had to subscribe to see more of your adventures. Messed up that your truck was unreliable. What's more messed up is the price of trucks these days. Anyway, enter Casper - get it buddy! Ma'am, you're really good with camera and narration. Perfect type of voice for it too. Peace out, stay safe. (I need to go walk about in Utah, such a beautiful area).

Dodge Ram 2500/3500 Cummins diesel. They won't get the fuel mileage my older trucks did but these trucks are bullet proof and will last at least 500,000 miles.
