Hey Payal, keep that gate, later as Sid grows, you could use your basement room and make a partition with that gate, so that sid can use it with door open to play, with all his slide, ball pool etc so it looks like a small play area for him. I did the same with my child

Give him pedialyte - no milk. Virus has to flush out. Also more water. Focus on liquids and fruits more. I have 9 and 13 year old. When they r in day care- viral infection is pretty common. Raised them with FT job and that's what I did
