Those who are claiming that Bulgaria is not the poorest country in Europe or that Bulgaria is not underdeveloped or beautiful, when did I say that? Bulgaria is beautiful but it is the poorest in EU in terms of GDP per capita, that’s it! I talked about EUROPEAN UNION and neither Ukraine and nor Moldova are a part of EUROPEAN UNION. In Europe, there are around 44 countries and in EU, there are around 27 of those (Ukraine and Moldova are still not a part of it!) You can check the official website of EU and Bulgaria is believed to have the lowest GDP per capital among the countries of EUROPEAN UNION, which makes it the poorest in EU!

I am living in Bulgaria from past 5 years. I am not agreed with the title of this Video. Bulgaria is not fully developed country but not less than a developed country. It has beautiful beaches amazing history, world oldest churches and many Unesco heritage sites. People are amazing and most of them can speak english. Sofia, the capital city is called the Silicon Valley of eastern Europe. Lots of oppurtunities for IT proffessionals. Bulgarian passport index rank stands 8th in the World. Europe and European Union are different things. There are 44 countries in Europe today and 27 countries in European Union including Bulgaria. Bulgaria and Romania has the lowest gdp per capita than other 25 countries of European Union. Hence, these 2 countries are called the poorest country of European Union only but not in the whole Europe. That is why, I shared my personal view about the title which can mislead people as most of the people do not know complete facts about Europe, European Union and Schengen Areas.
