NEW UPDATE AS OF JULY 2021: Per IATF Resolution 123-C, all arriving individuals fully vaccinated in the Philippines, regardless of travel history, and those vaccinated abroad who stayed exclusively in “Green” countries/jurisdictions (see IATF Resolution 124-A) in the past fourteen days immediately preceding arrival, shall be required to undergo a seven (7) -day facility-based quarantine upon arrival, with the date of arrival being the first day. NOTE: The United States is NOT/NOT included in the list of “Green” countries and therefor the shorter quarantine listed in IATF Resolution 123-C does NOT apply to passengers arriving from the United States. Those who were fully vaccinated in the Philippines must carry their vaccination card, which should be verified prior to their departure by a certification issued through the Certificate of Vaccination Record Portal of the Department of Information and Communications Technology or the City Health Officer of the local government unit which administered the full vaccination. Those fully vaccinated in countries/jurisdictions outside the Philippines must carry their official documentation of full vaccination validated through the Philippine Overseas Labor Offices (POLO) or present their International Certificate of Vaccination, whichever is applicable. For purposes of gathering local data on breakthrough infections, all arriving individuals qualified for a seven (7) -day facility-based quarantine under the foregoing provisions shall undergo Reverse Transcription Polymerase Chain Reaction (RT-PCR) testing on the fifth day of facility-based quarantine with day one being the date of arrival. Please see the Department of Health (DOH) website for full details of IATF Resolutions. Many thanks Paul! I've been doing endless research on new arrival protocols, which is quite confusing depending on the websites one ends up reading. Your vlog is about as good as it gets! Good tip on the eCIF - better to just do it there. Again - many thanks for sharing this! On my way to Manila! Lastly Paul, from disembarking from the plane to being able to line up for your taxi, how long did it take? 2 hours?
@PaulVirtucioo3 жыл бұрын
Hi! Glad this helps, but pls make an ECIF 3days prior to your flight, either PADLAB or Redcross since it is required before boarding. It’s just that there are no Redcross representative when I arrived at the airport terminal 3, so I wasn’t able to pay for my swab testing with them and they just asked me to make a new one with PADLAB, which is situated there. (you can pay for the Redcross swab testing online in advance after doing the ecif with them, but they’re asking for your hotel room number, which I didn’t have yet. basically, before boarding, I have my Redcross ECIF, then just made new one w/ PADLAB at the terminal). Also, according to PAL’s website, If you are arriving in terminal 1, make an ECIF with PADLAB. Yes, it only took me 2 hours. It was actually fast compared to the experience of other people. Really depends on how many passengers are there at the area before you. they also prioritize OFW’s.

I can see the shops closed in the background at the airport in Guam. I was wondering why they are closed. I hope that the travellers in their connecting flight to Guam brought their own snacks or get snacks or bottled water from the vending machine if there are some vending machines near their boarding gates since they couldn't enter the shops to buy food or bottled water when the stores are closed. Maybe if there are some stores that are open 24/7 near their boarding gates, they will be able to buy snacks or bottled water.

What time did you arrive in Manila, how come they only have padlab, coz as far as I know if you are flying via PAL they also have their own testing/diagnostic facility? Would you suggest that we register for both padlab & PALs ECIF 3 days prior to my scheduled flight (coz internet connection might be an issue in NAIA)? Thanks for the video hope to hear from you soon. God bless and stay safe 🙏
@PaulVirtucioo3 жыл бұрын
Hi! I actually flew in with United Airlines (UA) and arrived in NAIA terminal 3 at 8 pm. Yes, PAL has their own lab testing partner po, which you can pay in advance via PAL's website (link in the description box of my vlog). According to PAL's website, which I have read before my flight, if you're arriving at the NAIA terminal 1 po, you have to have an ECIF with PADLAB. If not, just do PAL's ECIF. Since you ask me po, I would suggest for you to do both so that you'll be hassle free just in case one doesn't work, you still have the other. I could have done that po should I've known. Hope this helps :)

Hi Paul, thank you s info. Dami kaming pinanonood n vlogs about arrival protocol, nakakalito, iba-iba sinasabi. Thank God nakita nmin tong vlog mo, fresh info at based on your own recent experiences dahil pabagu-bago protocol jan satin. Pauwi rin kami ni misis (both senior citz) jan s pinas on the 24th via EVA Air, arriving at NAIA Terminal 1. May tanong lang kami, Paul, if u don’t mind... - anong airline ka, at saang NAIA terminal ka lumapag? - u mentioned they asked u to register sa PADLAB for ur rt-pcr test sked? Does that mean hindi n talaga required ang e-cif ng RedCross? Because our understanding is Red Cross used to do the swab testing before? So right now PADLAB n lang? - U didn’t mention anything about Traze App Registration... Hindi n to required gaya ng sinasabi ng ilang vloggers? THANK YOU. GOD BLESS U AND STAY SAFE!
@PaulVirtucioo3 жыл бұрын
Hi! I appreciate your comment po. I flew with United Airlines, then lumapag sa terminal 3. ECIF is still required, either with Red cross or PADLAB. In my case, wala po akong hotel room number yet, na required before paying my swab testing after the registration with ECIF ng Redcross (if you are going to pay online po kasi may mga hinihinging info and one of which is yung hotel room number mo). Pero if you can contact your hotel po and ask for your possible hotel room number, then you can pay online na. So upon arrival po, since walang red cross representative dun sa area and PADLAB lang yung nandon mismo, they asked me to make a new ECIF with them and then pay there sa station beside the verification booth. Pero if ever po na you were able to pay for your swab testing after you have registered na with the ECIF of Redcross, upon arrival ipakita nyo lang po yung receipt of payment. Traze app naman po is for PAL I think, you can see it on their website as part of their requirement, pero it's not really required po. Basically before flying, the first thing that they will ask you is your confirmed hotel booking for 10 days and your ECIF. Hope this helps po :)

@PaulVirtucioo3 жыл бұрын
Hi! Just pick one po, either ECIF with Redcross or PADLAB. with PADLAB, it was 4K. with Redcross I forgot na since I wasn't able to pay using their portal as they were requiring your hotel room number first before submitting your payment :)

Paano kong galing manila to province ay need pa ba ng quarantine doon!?
@PaulVirtucioo3 жыл бұрын
Hi! If sa province mo gagawin yung home quarantine right after your hotel quarantine, that would be 4 days lang. Coordinate with your LGU if they have other quarantine policy para sa galing manila.

Is this question in general or are you referring to my hotel on my second vlog? you may just take a metered taxi though. my hotel doesn't have one and you should be the one to contact your hotel days before your flight regarding that matter. For your second question, I don't know. just ask the accredited hotels, which you may choose from.

@@PaulVirtucioo thank you po , kahit vaccinated ka still 14 days quarantine , sayang lng vaccine ntin , anyway question ko ung 4 days n home quarantine sa lgu example my home town is on cagayan after 10 days need ko agad magtravel sa cagayan to continue the home quarantine for 4 days? mejo confusing ung protocol nila ? so 4 days lng ako mahome quarantine sa cagayan not 14 days ? sorry hope u understand my question ,
@PaulVirtucioo3 жыл бұрын
Yes, I actually asked them regarding that matter since fully vaccinated din ako, e wala hindi po applicable yung ganyan sa pinas. For the 4 days home quarantine po, it depends sa ilalagay mo na permanent address upon requesting your BOQ certicate once na makuha mo na result ng swab testing mo. your address po kasi for the home quarantine will be written on the BOQ certifcate na need before ka lumabas ng hotel. (Yes po 4 days lang sa bahay nyo, that's 14 days in total including your 10 days hotel quarantine). hope this helps :)

@PaulVirtucioo3 жыл бұрын
Not really the address on your birth certificate bro, you’ll be the one to put your address e upon requesting you BOQ certificate after getting your result for swab testing. So wherever you wanna finish up your 4 days home quarantine, just put that address. Keep safe!

Hi! how safe would you say riding the metered taxi to your hotel is and how much did they charge you? I am asking because I know some taxi drivers in the Philippines are notorious for scamming their passengers but I am hoping that since we’re still in a pandemic, most of the things that goes on within and around the airport is highly monitored or regulated. I hope this is the case.
@PaulVirtucioo3 жыл бұрын
Hi! right, metered taxis at the naia was horrible before. In my experience, they charged me 800 from naia to golden phoenix hotel. It was actually a flatrate, but it was okay since when I asked the receptionist at the hotel, he said na it's really 800 from the airport. He asked me though if I want to go with the meter or just the flatrate. He even gave me his phone number just in case I need a service once I'm done with quarantine. I think overall it's safe, knowing na they have to register everytime they pick up a passenger so it's monitored.

I just ask what hotel u booked & if u pay your pre-booked stay upon arrival @ the hotel ba? Is it w/ full meals na? mind if i ask how much rate/night(w/meals) in peso. ROF from NZ PAL/flight scheduled on June13th. stay safe & God bless!
@PaulVirtucioo3 жыл бұрын
Hi! I did pay my hotel online po since I need a confirmed booking as one of the requirements. In general, the rate and the meal really depends on the hotel that you chose. In my case, I booked directly at the Golden Phoenix Hotel Manila, it's actually in pasay near the airport. Originally, I paid for a deluxe room and it was 3999 per night but if with PAL, you'll get a "mabuhay" discount and you'll just pay 3599 per night with fullboard meal, but still you have the tax to pay so add that up. Then when I arrived there, they gave me an upgrade to a suite room lol. I'll actually upload the 2nd vlog tonight at 6 pm ph time, you might wanna watch that so you have an idea if ever :)
