Good advice, lady. Even with your short stay here u have a grasp of the America mode of life & system. I have lived in America for more than 50+ plus years. My advice to the youth is to study hard, learn a trade or up your academic credentials. You will be fine here. Also be honest. No libilibi. That's exactly right, my sis. ok to invest in $30K only if you are guaranteed a green card, otherwise the money is not worth it because of the restrictions in issuance of social security card and driver's license in the USA. My advice to the youth is that if you have such an amount, you could apply to go to the university [there are reasonably priced small universities in the USA] and get a student visa [you could also apply for a work permit to work on weekends and during the summer months]. I see many people who have used student visa as an entry point and subsequently received green card depending on the area of study.

You will still have to come and work for your documents when you get here.Yes there are a lot of opportunities here in this country but won't advice anyone to pay that huge amount for a visa or papers.They are so many ways you can adjust here in America not only through marriage.
