Me and my fam have been “coming home”, to Wilderness Lodge for at least 10 yrs., now. It has never gotten old for us. This year, our daughter’s girlfriend will be visiting Disney with us and will get to see how we celebrate Christmas, and decorate our Disney digs all Christmasy. Can. Not. Wait. Aaaah this was making me so nostalgic from my last trip staying at Wilderness Lodge! It's SUCH a gorgeous hotel. So fancy that you got to hop to another villa! Both rooms looked so beautiful though. And yay for pool time! It's such a pretty pool with that waterfall. Ah, this was the best. I can't wait to see the rest of your vlogs!! ❤

The Wilderness Lodge is so so beautiful! We were so happy we were able to stay there and it was so nice to get a little upgrade on the room 😁 the pool was our favorite thing about this resort for sure! We loved hanging out over by the waterfall 😍 thank you for watching!!

Over The Moony, I live and grew in Tampa, Florida. About a 50 minute drive from my house to Magic Kingdom Park and my favorite hotel out there which is Wilderness Lodge. The first time I went to that hotel was back in 2005. I love their lobby is breathtaking. The restaurants out there are worth to go eat out there. Me personally I like to get a room facing the pool and the lake if you want to watch the fire works in the Magic Kingdom Park. Go past the the pool and watch the Geyser and the light show in the middle of the lake , which I don't know if they have them now! Past the pool at night next to manmade beach you can watch outdoors a Disney movie at night. Or take the boat ride if they are operating now at this time which I'm not sure due to the pandemic, and it'll will take to Fort Wilderness Lodge. They also show a different outdoors every night for free. You can buy marshmallows and roast s'mores! They had a petting zoo, horses out there , take a horse carriage ride, or a buggy ride like the old Western days, go horse back riding. And at Wilderness Lodge next to the pool, there's a pool bar, you can bicycles or go walking on a trail. When we stayed out there I remember taking a bus to go to Disney Springs , back then it was called Downtown Disney we saw deers by the front entrance of the Hotel running in front of the bus. And their gift shop it's got a huge selection of Disney merchandise. God knows how much money I spent in that gift shop, including pins, Disney watches, souvenirs and much more! There's an app called Etsy that you downloaded if you're not able to go the parks at this time and like collecting Disney merchandise. And they've got a huge selection of Disney merchandise including from Wilderness Lodge Hotel or check the Disney Outlet stores as well. From a park lover.

Just to let you know if you don’t sign up for magic express in time all you have to do is check the tags that your airline gives you for your bags those like little sticker things in case you lose your bag and you just give those to magic express they typed the information into the computer and they pick up the bags I had to do that once for a trip that was last minute and it worked out great got my bags in time just like usual

It seems so eerie to see such an empty airport. And the Magical Express was so empty. I was pretty surprised that they did seat guests close to you when it seemed there was more empty seats way ahead of them. Wilderness Lodge looks so amazing!

We just canceled our October trip to WDW because being a teacher (Colorado) we are doing in person teaching so I was told I would have to quarantine for 2 weeks and I just can't afford that and I also need to think of the kids and their families. I hope you all get to go on your October trip. I have to say I am very sad to not be able to go home.

It's the worst thing!! lol

That blue chair thingy is actually for the disabled (i.e. those in wheelchairs) so that they can enjoy the water. It is also used for therapy for elderly or those with knee or hip problems. This way they can work out their muscles or other problems without putting too much weight on problem areas. We actually have one at our public pool. I believe the pool had to be reserved for it though.

It's kind of a cool device. It's usually not used much, but I'm sure for disability acts and things it is necessary.

Magical Express is not currently doing bag pick ups. All guests have to get there own bags. We're bummed about this for our trip in September.

What is it with the down escalators? I can handle up JUST fine but not down! When I was little I REFUSED to get on a down escalators by myself. Even now being older the down ones still freak me out!
