I have bought a M2 MBA a few weeks ago and I must admit it is my favorite tech item especially when I am on the go.As a visual artist I sometimes do light photo editing or digital painting on the go while writing. and tit is definitely perfect. Beautiful video! Since you did a similar video about a year ago, "Traveling with my iPad Pro...", I'd be interested in knowing which you prefer to travel with: the MacBook Air M2 or the iPad Pro M1? Also, just a question about your production of these videos: What equipment do you use to record the videos? Do you only use your iPhone's 4K/8K camera, or do you use a professional camera for the video, like the GoPro you mentioned, or the Sony DSLR that was attached to your MacBook in one of the scenes? No doubt about it Apple's M2 MacBook Air small, thin and light laptops are good for travel. But if they're used incorrectly like putting and using these on mattress beds blocks the device bottom grills or heat vents. The confined heat will likely shorten the life of the device internal components and circuits. Also, a computing device longevity is further reduced when it is exposed to harsh environments in beaches with their salty air, hot dusty or clammy locations or in damp and soggy places. Hence, the chick M2 Macbook Air laptops are good only for table tops in homes, offices, coffee shops and other sheltered areas.

Since I'm traveling to Thailand quite often, would you say this is a good choice over the pro for someone that's just looking to edit 4k vlogs with not so much layers of video and audio? No, stick with the M2 Air it is a pretty large difference with high specs and the main differences will be the faster processor, better display, and more ports, but the M2 Air will have the sleeker thin design which is more portable. Even for your needs the M2 Air is the way to go.
